I have to say this game is one of my
all time favorites for the Game Boy Advance system. A very strategic
installment in the hopefully never-ending Final Fantasy series, this
game appealed to me more than you would expect. I loved every bit of
it, the storyline, the customization, and the weapons and magic. The
unique idea of using weapons to teach a character a new spell or
ability was highly fascinating, as you need the best and most rare
weapons to learn the best and most useful abilities. Combos were
also implemented, and were a very easy way to deal the maximum amount
of damage, 999 HP, so long as the other clan members participating in
the combo attack had a combo ability equipped and were in a certain
range of the target. These were, however, very hard abilities to
learn, as you need the rare Mythril items, which are, if ever,
dropped from random encounters with only the slightest of chances.
Different races provide an incredible amount of customization for
your maximum battle party of six, as different races can become
different jobs that others cannot. This will provide an entertaining
yet lengthy process of teaching Marche and his clan members every
single ability of every single job available to him or her. The few
yet quite acquirable secret characters also appealed to me, with one
of each race, to find using random quest items. They are definitely
worth your time, as they are incredibly good, but they lose their
value in the Post-Game. I hope you enjoyed this astoundingly long
review, and maybe I have convinced you to buy this amazing game with
your own Viz. Remember this: I don't give out my 10's lightly.

Good Review!

I really liked this game for some of the reasons you said already.

I hope they make more games!
