Turns out that I have crap internet. I use Home Telephone. The ONLY High Speed provider where I live. They run a monopoly on the internet here....anyways, the reason why I've been onoff lately(as seen in my title) is because my internet keeps burping. I think it's my modem though. My router is great, it's a newer Linksys. The modem is Motorola's Surfboard Model. It sucks.

Anyways, that's why I'm likely to be onoff.

oh yeah i know that modem, its one of the worst ones out there, i have had some experience with it.
its a modem that big and/or dodgy companys use/used because its cheap.
considering i think its discontinued anyway.
telstra used to use it for cable plans. the aussies will know all about telstra

Ah. I don't know why H.T. would use them because it's not big. I thought that it was a crappy modem...turns out I was right. If H.T. wasn't the only HS provider, we'd be using another company.
