Graphics there are on par  with there snes counterparts  unfortunately a lot of the ninja stances are missing otherwords graphics are alright

Sound a lot of scream and grunts were taking out I mean they even replaced the jump voice with sheeva s voice sample
otherwords the sounds is really freaking hallow

Addictiveness no way I would ever play this peace of junk again  I mean come on the controls are just as bad as mk3 gameboy and game gear
there is just no way  I could find some addicting about this game

Story same as the other mortal combats shao khan is trying to rule earth realm and you have to defeat him

Depth not a lot I can say  it offers hidden characters to be unlocked.  no gameplay really the controls are  handicaped. it would be a miracle to pull of a finshing move on this

Difficultly this is the first time I raised it to a 10 . man I thought the mortal combat 1 controls for snes was bad you know where there is quarter second lag between button presses in mk1 for snes . but this port of umk3 hell the hit  dectection is so bad there are times where you would start doing moves straight through your foes . heck you would go against scorpion and he would start flying all over the screen
like a torando

Overall im sad that this port didn't turn out so great.  but luckliy midway made up for with mortal combat deadly alliance. I truly feel sorry for those that had went through this nightmare

Thundergod99 : It seems like you are trying to add a little more detail so I give you credit for that. Although I would suggest that you take a little more time to look over your review before posting, you have a few incomplete thoughts. You also need to get better at using punctuation to make it easier to read.

Also I can't stress this enough, it would be so much more helpful if you put more than one sentence of information for each category.

As far as the game itself goes, I'm not sure what you were expecting really, it's a Port of MK 3 on a handheld with limited buttons compared to the arcade/snes versions. So of course the controls are going to be off.

The controls for the SNES version were about on-par with the arcade version, so I'm not really sure what you meant there.

Jordanv78 i edited my review so hopefully its should be easier and better to read  and what i was saying was  mortal combat 1 for super nintendo had lag in it making controls bad

Relax. "Jordan" is like that. I normally laugh at his posts when he responds to my reviews.
When you do that he will not try "Punking" you any more.
Well. He doesn't really "punk" per-se, rather he just "naggs" at the "Newbies."
About the "controls" around here. Even when I figured out a way to alter everything to my Computers Controler there are some moves that cannot be executed concerning the "fighting games."
It's a handicap that you have to expect.

This is a nice review. I still never made a review which is somewhat funny to me. But is this game really that bad. The only mortal kombat game i ever played was on the original gameboy and i loved it. But hope to see more reviews from you in the future

They did make the game very yeah know screwed up, I mean there wasn't much to it, comparing it to other games of its type.
