That's a tough decision for me.  It seems to change with each new generation they add.  I suppose I'd have to go with Charizard and his pre-evolutions since that is where it all started.  Fire was originally my favorite type, though I've always thought (and still think) there are just too many Flying type Pokémon out there.  Definitely Charizard all the way!

I love Espeon. I used to do a lot of para-RP in pokemon forums, and my favorite role-play was a "Team Rocket"-esque theme. My pokemon of choice was Espeon, and it was the best RP I had ever participated in.

My favorite Pokémon of all time was, and will always be, Scyther. When I was young, I played Gold non-stop. When I could enter their bug-catching competition in, I believe it was Goldenrod?, I would go after Scyther. When I captured him, and was able to keep him, I trained him to be one of my most powerful Pokémon.  I found him to be one of the coolest since he was amazingly fast, had blades for hands, and because my favorite bug in real life is the praying mantis. I always found that my enemies would be "praying" for the battle to be done when I chose this bad-boy.

Alakazam baby! Cant believe he was barely mentioned. He was an absolute BEAST in generation one. Probably the best sweeper in the game. Ridiculously high speed and Special. Recover was also a nice move in its arsenal.
It was actually such a beast that they had to bring in dark type Pokémon and make them immune to psychic so that it wouldn't own everything loool.  His descriptions made me laugh as well. Pokémon with 5000 IQ. Sure why not  ha ha.
