Basically what do you think of the episodes so far in season 3?

Fine, I'll bite. I'm pretty sure I've seen all the eps that have aired thus far (they took a break recently). It seems okay so far. Even though Faust no longer has any involvement whatsoever, the quality hasn't noticeably suffered at all.

I tend to like RBD-focused episodes more than anything else. I'm partial towards the camping one with her and Scootaloo because they finally got around to establishing the idea of Dash taking Scoots under her wing.

I also like the Wonderbolts Academy ep because it finally gets Dash closer to her dream of being a Wonderbolt. I just didn't like how drastically they changed Spitfire and the characterization they decided to give her in that ep. It felt really awkward.

Trixie's return was nice too. I'm glad it ended on a good note and not "You're banished forever!" I don't like interesting characters getting kicked aside with no chance for redemption (which sadly seems to be what happened to that lightning pegasus forget her name)

Finally, don't like Spike-centric eps because Spike's probably my least favorite of the characters that appear regularly.

Crazy Li : There some interesting views and most of them are very similar to my own actually.. 

I thought it was great that they didn't ruin Trixie's return as she is one of the more interesting characters... 

Let's hope they don't do the same with Discord

I also disliked the change in Spitfire's Character... I think they tried too hard to make it like an actual army camp... 

As for spike I always find the episodes based around him rather boring actually... There not really episodes that I can remember much about... 

As for Scootaloo finally getting a bit more development I'm all up for that.. She's easily my favourite Cutie Mark Crusader... 

Personally I hope that Gilda returns at some point.. I really liked her character...

I really liked what they did with Trixies return, and the apple family reunion really was good too. But they really did push Scootaloo for a bit this season, which didn't bother me but didn't exactly thrill me.  Rainbowdash had her turn indeed, I enjoyed it. Not much has been said about old King Sombre I notice...I didn't like the opener of season three much at all but it wasn't horrible I guess.

So I just watched ep 10 the other day and I was a little worried at first because I heard a lot of people at ponychan saying bad things about it... but can't trust opinions of random people on image boards :p

I actually liked the episode. I knew Discord was going to be in season 3... but I didn't expect him that soon or in that kind of role.

I think if they really wanted to have him 'reform', they handled it the right way. It dragged on the the very end and even then he only said he'll use his magic for good "most of the time". He's still Discord, after all. He's the spirit of chaos and as long as they keep true to that, they haven't botched his character (like many people were suggesting they did).

I was worried at first that they might have him give in right when he mentioned that he never had a friend before... but when he continued to use that as part of his "walking all over Fluttershy" bit, I felt they had it right.

I also like that he eventually came to the realization himself what Fluttershy's final threat was and even mocked it at first before quickly realizing losing his only friend actually meant something. I thought his "Well played" was a nice touch.

I'm really interested in seeing how they intend to use him from here on out, though. Even if he's technically on the side of the protagonist, he wouldn't be him if he wasn't chaotic and trying to have fun. I'd love to see him helping them against some other foe but doing it in a very mischievous manner... basically just being himself at the expense at the bad guy this time. I think that would be very fun to watch.

Season 3 is pretty good!
I do admit I am disappointed that there are only 13 episodes, but they made the best out of it!  I hope they show Discord again, I think they left all us bronys and pegasisters hanging.  He could serve an important role in the future!
If you don't know yet, I won't spoil the surprise, but I'm really excited for this Saturday!  I want to invent a time machine and watch that episode right now!

I've only seen the first episode, I'm really falling out of My Little Pony lately.

GAK is amazing. That's all.

alexanyways : Incase anyone doesn't know GAK was a commercial that played like 3-4 times in a row in a advert break... It drove a few people insane... and people basically talked about GAK so much the day after people got fed up with it in about 6 hours... Songs were made and everything..

I really liked season 3, it was really good. my favorite episodes are the bad apple, wonderbolts and the last episodes.

the last one mostly just for the songs and the wonderbolts one because it was interesting watching them do all there flying tests and stuff.

and the bad apple one for the songs also. xD

I prefer the second season though.
