I found an amazing trailer on YouTube a few months ago about an HD remake of Majora's Mask.

The uploader of the video claimed that it was leaked from E3, but that never happened. So now the video is simply known as a fake, but it looks too good to be a fake, and it looks pretty amazing.

Was the video really leaked, and is there actually a Wii U version of Majora's Mask on it's way, and Nintendo noticed the leak, so they just didn't release that information? That sure would explain their overall failure at E3 2012. Or is it just really a fake, a really amazing fake that you'd think was real otherwise?

I'd love to see this become real, because I loved Majora's Mask as it was one of my favorite Zelda games. Very dark, very well paced. It's can't be rated E, because it's too dark for that, it would probably be rated T. Look at me speculate.

Now, there's Operation Moonfall, a group that's dedicated to having the game remade and put onto the 3DS because they already have the Grezzo Ocarina of Time engine and graphics created, and it would be much easier to transfer it to 3DS, but wouldn't it be amazing to see this game on the home console once more? They could even have them both released at once, that would be a great idea.

As far as I know, the one leaked on you tube was a fake. The trailer really did not have that look Nintendo has, and I think the fact that they only showed one scene, and showed no game play, means that there was no game play, and Nintendo does not show trailers without game play.

And the horrible thing is, for about 3 minutes. I THOUGHT THERE WAS GOING TO BE ANOTHER MAJORA'S MASK! And my dreams were forever crushed that fateful day.

Yeah, all I've heard of it (Despite the praise of how well it looks) was that it's basically just a fake. A very well made fake, at that.

A shame, really. I'd have loved a remake of Majora's Mask, but I guess I can settle with Wind Waker HD, since that was announced not long ago.

I guess the next best thing we'll get for now is an HD conversion cable for the Wii, after buying MM on the VC, Nya~.

ender44 : Nintendo is omniscient. It loves us all the same and must cater equally. It may not please all, but is intended to please the majority. Let Nintendo's will be done.

I will admit the fake trailer was very well done, when will Zelda give the fans what they want and give use a remake of Majora's Mask.
It's not to much to ask is it.

iN008 : I think that it should have been included in the Ocarina of Time 3DS remake. It would drastically increase in value.

Tails the Fox : I honestly would prefer it to come on the Wii U, since then the inventory would be easy to use and it would quite fun to play honestly specifically the HD part.

While it hasn't been officially announced, a retail game store in Mexico have listed Majora's Mask 3D for a short amount of time, for a release date of November 2013.

While it's not a Wii U game, it's still a MM remake.

And it's yet to be announced, so here's to hoping.

Majora's Mask U might be a good step to re-introduce the best of LoZ to the general public. Plus, an HD or redone game would definitely sell really well. Hopefully it's true enough to debut. At least in E3 2013.

Tails the Fox : You still had to go into a menu to get the items.
Plus I prefer console games over handhelds since I can use my TV.

iN008 : To be honest, I would love the idea to have the top screen of my 3DS on my TV. Nintendo could easily do that with the WiiU.
