Ok, I think this is the right forum. If not I apologize in advance.

I know that when people do reviews, it is in the rules that you have to have written the reviews. (DUH, lol). 

My question is this: Is it permissible to have someone edit your review for you before you post it?

I do a lot of editing for other things (mostly horrible fan fiction...and if you've read any really bad ones, you might have an idea of what kinds of things I've been faced with.)

I'm asking because there's a situation that I'm in that I would like to offer this for someone who is struggling to learn how to do it for himself, but I don't want to trip over any weird rules that I might not have come across yet and get us both in trouble. So I'm asking for an official answer before we get too far into it.

Well, having others Edit the review you make is fine, but if the person who editted your review asks for credit, I think you should put their name  for helping about making the review better, but only if the person who did it asks.

thudricdholee : Honestly I find this idea wonderful. I wish that more people would spend the time having someone else edit their reviews. A lot of reviews on this website are incomplete or just unreadable. Doing this shows that you put a lot of time and effort into making sure that the review is more professional and Journalistic in nature.

As long as all the content is original and written by you, I have no objections and I doubt others would either.
