Yellow... first one I played. I will never forget starting that game... EPIC!

I have fond memmories of pokemon stadium

i would have to say that my favorite pokemon gam of all time would have to be pokemon yellow because it had you start out with pikachu and got to get all of the 3 other starters from that region along the way as well.

I think red/blue cause it started everything and had the best pokemon to me

red/blue original games are always the best

I think fire reds a good pokemon game beacuse it was a remake of pokemon red and i think any game with charmander in it is good :-),but I think that crystal and emrald wasw good too.

i like blue and gold but there just out of date now i played them ween they came out but i like emerald more them all the old games but i like HG/SS more ween i play them

Heartgold /Soulsilver because it is so innovative and allows the current generation to expirience gold and siler versions for themselves.

I'm torn between Crystal/Yellow. Both are the third one in their Generation, and both added neat tweaks to there counterparts that made it a lot more fun to play (Yellow had the whole Pikachu deal, which I loved; Crystal had the animated sprites, the Suicune subtext). I tend to stray towards these two because they are among the first I've ever played, and they were some of the things that made me love the series (just not the anime. I loved the first series, but I really didn't like the Johto series).

I'm going to pick Pokemon XD: Gale Of Darkness because it'sVERY underrated, it has some great underrated music, it's a 3D Pokemon game that is atually better than some of the handheld ones, and because of it's storyline. Plus, I loved the shadow Pokemon because after purification, they usually know some unique moves.

The best is Pokemon Trading Card Game for the gbc.

Blue version was the first Pokemon game I ever played. I loved it of course but it had the same tiny and virtually insignificant problems any 1st gen game has. Bad graphics. This wasn't a huge problem but I have to say the reason I played Gold/Silver more was just because of how much better it looked. Appearance is important in a game and when you fight in the 1st gen games, (Blue, red and yellow) your pokemon pops out of the ball looking like an unrecognizable mess. Especially the bulbasaur evolutions.

Gold version was the second version I ever played. I loved it. The addition of time and the accessories that went along with it (Monica and her siblings and pokemon only appearing in the day/night are a few) made the Gen 2 games my favorites. The only problem was that I was hoping to be able to catch the first generation starters once I reached Kanto.
I liked my Feraligatr but I missed my Blastoise. I didn't know anyone else who played so I couldn't trade. Not to much of a problem though.

The next generations, despite having some cool new additions, weren't as interesting as their predecessors. And the number of pokemon was getting to resemble an army rather than a group.

In conlusion, Generation 2's peak performance (Crystal) is my favorite. Expanding on all of the things I loved from Gold and Silver.

The choice I'd have to make is Crystal. Although I didn't play that one, I do believe it also has the 16 badges to get, plus slight revisions to Gold/Silver. So, my overall pick is from Gen II. I don't even know the pokemon after that!!

I like firered/Leafgreen they were nice remakes of the originals, plus the male character was in Super Smash Bros. Brawl which was awesome.

It was a tough tie between the Pokemon trading card game and the newer ones. But the Trading card Game still prevails...

i liked emerald the best in my opionion

i would have to say the best Pokemon game is fire or ruby they have great gameplay and a wide variety of Pokemon
