   Number one favorite? I'm not sure...  these games come to mind when I think of music though.

Chrono Cross - This has the strongest chance of being at the top. Very emotional stuff.

There are lots of great soundtracks, but my favorite would probably be one of the Final Fantasy games. There are some amazing pieces, especially in FF 6 and FF7.

I would argue for the soundtrack of the Castlevania games, but if I had to pick one it would be Harmony of Despair because the soundtrack is remixes of the best tracks of the series.

I don't know how fair this topic is, considering there are so many great games with so many great soundtracks. I'm going to try to give you five.

Kingdom Hearts II - I love the blend of tender songs and the intense, fast paced songs. This game does an excellent job of setting the mood, no matter what the situation was.

Assassin's Creed II - Jespyr Kidd delivered in this soundtrack. It's kind of the same situation as above, but the vocal element really makes it pop. I also like that it promotes exploration in a lot of ways with the depth of the sound and the multi-faceted scores.

Final Fantasy X - The somber intro song really does it for me. I love that song so much. I'm not sure if I could actually listen to the entire soundtrack, but I can see no better music for everything that you come across in this game.

Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core - The emotional appeal of this game's soundtrack really draws me into it. The remixes of Final Fantasy VII songs are good, but the original music really makes this soundtrack pop.

Tales of Symphonia - This one was funny, because I couldn't actually figure out my number 5 despite the fact that I was humming one of the boss battle themes. This soundtrack is more predominantly rock, and really the battle music is catchy and excellent. When I heard some of the music in one of the Fire Emblem hacks that I'm playing, I was excited. It definitely doesn't disappoint.
