Pokémon Emerald is, I have to say, my favorite game of all time. I remember when I first got this game. I absolutely loved it! I was addicted, my Straight A's turned into C's. Don't be worried, it was only like, 4th grade or something like that and I changed them. This game is extremely addictive. I played it day and night. I found this website when I was browsing the Internet, and after a while, I saw that I could play Emerald Version! I hadn't played the game in years since Elementary School, So I was excited. I had been recently been active in Competitive Pokémon, which is where basically online battling, but you learn a lot. Armed with new knowledge, I decided to make this review.

Graphics: 10

You have probably all heard this before, but the graphics were better than Ruby and Sapphire. I mean, WAY better. The sprites moving was a big difference. The water reflecting your character was nice too, along with the big battle between Kyogre & Groudon. That was really cool the first time I saw it, but after the Black and White Zekrom/Reshiram entrance, it wasn't as good. Still, nostalgia was nice. The way the Magma and Aqua sprites were designed left me thinking. Why didn't they design unique avatars for the Admins if they designed a unique avatar for the Leaders? I mean, both the Leaders and Admins are pathetic weak sissies, so shouldn't they have unique characters since they are so unique? Overall, the graphics were good, all jokes aside.

Sound: 10

Have you been to Verdanturf town? HAVE YOU? That is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I have ever heard, and this is coming from a professional Piano Player. I played this game, heard the song, then went on YouTube to hear it again. Then I decided to learn it. It wasn't that hard, but it's still my favorite relaxing song. The Champion theme wasn't as good as Fire Red and Leaf Green. I mean, Gary was all "WHOA", and Wallace was all "What's this guy wearing?" I mean, this is a children's game, but the people reading this probably are old enough to know, but Wallace is GAY.  His team is pretty good for a stupid computer, except for the Wishcash. I mean, Wailord's got big HP, Milotic's got swag, Gyarados is strong, but Wishcash SUCKS. Sorry to be veering off the music subject, just professing my eternal hate for that fat, lumpy, weak, pathetic Pokémon piece of poop they call Wishcash.

Addictiveness: 10

Like I said, I played this day and night. If you're into Pokémon, you like the old school feeling it has, but it still has the New Frontier feel, especially with all the new game mechanics and Battle Frontier. I really enjoy training for the Battle Frontier, and it takes up a lot of my time because EV training takes FOREVER. All in all, I love this game.

Story: 6

The storyline is okay, but you could have seen it coming. I mean, Team Magma and Team Aqua are stupid, the Earth is just fine. Or it was, until humans came along (Those dang rotten Humans!!). The story involves very, very little thought process to understand, and it's not even a storyline until the last gym, where everything comes together. The story needs a little bit more. An official remake of Emerald Version is recommended.

Depth: 6

The Depth is basically the same as the storyline. It would have been lower if EV training didn't take so long . Battle Frontier is annoying, since you can't just go up and challenge the Brains, You have to go through the task of beating their weak minions first. But since it takes so long and there is a lot to do at Battle Frontier. I've given the Depth a 6.

Difficulty: 1

I'm sorry, but this game is easy as heck. The gym leaders are predictable and their Pokémon aren't EV trained, and the Elite 4 is JOKE. What are they, the supposed best trainers in Hoehn? That's ridiculous. Who has actually lost to the Elite 4? I don't mean "Run of out Hyper Potions and Revives", I mean LOST.  C'mon, Absol? That thing looks super cool, but it is ridiculously weak, especially since Dark-type moves are Special and not Physical in 3rd-gen, so it doesn't even have any STAB to work with. Phoebe uses that weak-ass Sableye, which was as useless as Wishcash until Black and White Versions' Dream World gave it the ability Prankster, which made it godly. Glacia, the ice lady, could have taken a page out of Lorelle's (The Ice Elite 4 in Kanto) book. That ugly hag JYNX is better than that Glalie, which by the way, has the weirdest title. The Face Pokémon??? Is that referencing how it's entire body is a face, yet it has an ugly mug? The Dragon Elite 4 has really good Pokémon, except Altaria, which is a stupid cotton-fluff piece of crap, and I don't even see how it is even a dragon-type. Drake, though, has no idea how to use Dragons.

Conclusion:

All in all, even with my cynicism and my insults to basically just about every character in the game (Except Wally, he has awesome hair) If you haven't tried Emerald, try it! It's a really fun game and if you have played it before, go get nostalgic. And don't take this wrong, Emerald is my favorite game. It's just after a while of facing real Humans, who don't use Wishcash, Artificial Intelligence Wannabes controlling characters is just too easy.

But remember, if I have taught you one thing in this Review, Pokémon Emerald Version is AWESOME!! (And Wishcash sucks)

Hey Thanks Beast! Nice to know people actually listen to my review! Lol, if you have any other games you want a review or guide for, just ask.

[I wonder how does Wishcash find a mate?]
