A friend of mine told me about it. I missed the first season but was able to watch all the episodes online and loved it. Now I set the DVR to record it. I was wondering if anyone else watches it.

About the Show:
"Life," from Rand Ravich ("The Astronaut's Wife") and Far Shariat ("Confessions of a Dangerous Mind"), focuses on a detective who is given a second chance. Golden Globe nominee Damian Lewis ("Band of Brothers") plays complex, offbeat Detective Charlie Crews, who returns to the force after serving time in prison for a crime he didn't commit.

Crews' new lease on life has provided him with a Zen-like outlook, peace of mind and no need for vengeance, an attitude which can be challenging to maintain when someone he cares about is threatened -- or when he is investigating the mystery surrounding the murder he was falsely accused of.

Lewis is joined by cast members Sarah Shahi ("Rush Hour 3") as Dani Reese, Charlie's skeptical and demanding partner; Brent Sexton (HBO's "Deadwood") as Officer Bobby Stark; Donal Logue ("Grounded for Life)" as Captain Kevin Tidwell, and Adam Arkin ("Chicago Hope") as Crew's former cellmate Ted Earley.

"Life" is a Universal Media Studios production. Creator Rand Ravich is executive producer and writer; Shariat is also executive producer and writer, and Dan Sackheim serves as executive producer and director on the series.

I bought the first season on DVD, never had watched it before so it was a chance. I really liked it, its feels to me like a mixture of CSI, NYPD Blue and Monk. Everynow and then it seems a tiny bit corny but other than that its worth watching I think.

Yeah its got some parts that are kinda corny but over all I really like it. I never seen the star in anything else but a TV series called Band of Brothers (Which is the best WWII mini series ever). So when I seen he was int his I thought I would check it out.

Yeah I bought band of brothers in DVD aswell, it's such an epic WW2 show. I felt he played a better role in BOB than LIFE.

Yeah, Band of Brothers is one of those movies/ mini series that everyone does such a good job in their acting rolls that the movie as a whole is just amazing. It realy fell together perfectly. A lot of people thought it was better than Saving Private Ryan. If I am not mistaken, Tom Hanks came off the set of Saving Private Ryan and started working on Band of Brothers. Thats why its got that same gritty type action scenes.
