Most of those are pretty far out but some of them seem more logical than dumb. I agree with rasen on the pants issue. Im just glad I live in Australia and not America (no offence).

There are camels in the American SW as a result of a 19th century military experiment for long-distance desert haulers to supply the soldiers dealing with the Native Americans. Supposedly, to this day, camels can be seen in the wild in the Baja to Arizona.

The abandoned baggage one exists because there might be a bomb left there by said terrorist in that bag, and he might be picking it up from there to move it to a better location for setting it off.

In the state of New York, the penalty for jumping off a building (more than three stories high) is death.

Those rules sound really dumb but to be fair people can do stupid things so I guess it's for them.
