Hello, everybody! I am going to do a review of an awesome hack of Super Mario 64. This hack has a lot to do. It has 151 stars to get! That's a lot and it will certainly take a long time (unless you already beat this game or if you are a pro at games like this one).
Graphics: 7
The creator of this game did a super good job with graphics, even though it could have been a little better. For example, the paintings you see in the 1st overworld are re-made, even though they're just different colors and there isn't really any real art in the background. Also, lots of the graphics from Super Mario 64 are re-used in this game. Almost EVERY graphic in Course 2 is from the original game.
Sound: 8
A lot of brand-new music was created for this game. For example, the second you hit the start button, there's brand-new music playing for the file select screen. When someone playing this game hears brand-new music the second they push the start button, he/she is probably thinking, "Hey, this game is probably going to be better than I expected!" Another good example is that one of the original songs from Super Mario 64 was remixed and used for the first course in the game, Dice Fortress. Even if you don't recognize the music, you'll still like it. The creator did a fantastic job with sound.
Addictiveness: 8
Like I mentioned earlier, this game has 151 stars to get. That'll definitely take a long time to beat and it's really fun to play this game again and again.
Story: 6
The story is the same as almost every other Mario game: Princess Peach gets kidnapped by Bowser and Mario has to rescue her to save the kingdom.
Depth: 9
Again, this game has 151 stars to get. This hack has more to offer than any other hack of Super Mario 64 that I have ever seen.
Difficulty: 9
I have to rate this one pretty high because of the same reason as depth: there are 151 stars in this game. There are also a lot of intense challenges. For example, in Course 3, there is one star that requires pixel-perfect jumping skills to get to it. I had quite a lot of trouble with that one. Another example is that courses 14 and 15 require SERIOUS wall-jumping skills. I've seen videos of people playing those courses and let me tell you, it takes a long time to beat them.
Overall: 8.5
I really like this game because it is really challenging and has a lot to do. There are 31 more stars in this game than there are in Super Mario 64! It doesn't really matter if you're a Mario fan or not. If you like a challenge or you're just bored and want to try this game out, please do so. I highly recommend this game to anyone who likes a good challenge.
