Hello everyone, I have recently been turned on to this site and have viewed many times without actually registering an account, but alas a question finally arose and I needed to break down and register so I could ask it on this lovely forum! Here goes!
If any of you are xbox 360 gamers you may have noticed that microsoft recently added the option to browse the web via internet explorer. Yes, it was a long time coming and I suppose microsoft finally realized xbox wouldn't corner their computer market, because frankly I don't know a soul who owns a microsoft computer!
So with the new addition of internet explorer a person can now view this website, vizzed.com, from their console. So now I am curious as to if I can use and play games hosted no this site over my xbox (which would really be neat). I tried to play an NES game (2 crude dudes) so I was going to download the RGR or whatever the player is called, and I couldn't download it to my xbox hard drive, it came up with some message that said "xbox doesn't allow downloads to the internal harddrive", not sure how it was actually worded but it basically was stating that the hard drive you plug into your xbox won't allow you to download and install the player.
So this gave me another thought, my friend plays music off of a thumb drive through his xbox, also has a few call of duty map packs saved to the thumb drive as well...would it be possible then if I get a compatible thumb drive, to download the vizzed player to the thumb drive and then use that to play vizzed retro games through my xbox and on my HD tv?
Any replies concerning this topic are much appreciated!!!
