First of I MUST state that I am a huge Castlevania Fan so I might sound a little Biast here. Castlevania - Aria of Sorrow, I got hooked onto this game due to another very similar side scrolling Castlevania for PlayStation. Symphony of the Night. Since then iv tried to find them all and this is the first place iv ever been able to find them. Now Aria of Sorrow taking place in Japans 2035 thrilled me when I started playing it and like true Castlevania fashion, kept to the antique weaponry style of swords and spears. Only 2 possible guns in the whole game.

The Aspect of actually "playing" as Dracula peaked my interest. To come back and collect the souls to gain back your power. Soma being pulled into the Eclipse Justin Belmont sealed Castlevania into with the power of the Vampire Killer whip. Just to save your soul you realize its already been sold to the devil.

Now in spite of the System it was made for, Aria of Sorrow more than delivered in the amount of detail Konami put into it, But then again Konami has yet to disappoint me in works the do.

Castlevania has always been an addictive franchise for me and probably always will be. Kill Dracula in an ever changing castle. Every new game is a surprise do to the nature of the castle, ITS ALIVE. You cant play one game and expect it to be the same in the next

You'll hunt for souls for a while. I have yet to collect them all and iv had the game for several years. I just cant seem to ever be able to collect Legion, Not that I don't know how but I always kill it before Shedding its shield >.<, ... The game itself is not that difficult at all. Leveling comes quick, money comes slow (without certain souls) and enemies are easy to kill by the time you meet them...

Now Aria of sorrow is very easy to learn and very easy to pick up. Nothing personal but I found Pokémon harder to learn than this and that's not saying much.
