Overall: 8
This game is a fun Pokémon game where you are a trainer and you must become the best trainer in the world, and "catch 'em all!" This game is a pretty fun RPG game, but not the best I've ever played. I'd recommend playing this game.
Story: 7
The story in this game is like any other Pokémon game, really. There's you, a rival, an eccentric professor, and, of course, the bad guys ( ex : team rocket, team magma, team galactic, you know what I mean). But, This story does have some special quirks to it. For example: there's Wally. A sick, energetic, and hopeful trainer. There are also some other special characters, like Archie, maxie, and Steven- but I don't want to spoil anything. So, altogether, I give the story an 8.
Graphics: 6
The graphics in this game are a lot like other game boy advance games and Pokémon games. To tell you the truth, nothing really stands up to me in this game. Sure, some of the special effects were good, but not THAT good... But, one thing stands out: the Pokémon move, which is pretty cool! Without the Pokémon moving, I'd give it a 5 but, right now, I'm giving it a 6 . Sound: 6
The sounds in this game are OK. They are very repetitive. It's basically a one minute loop for every song. Except for some, which have a different melody after a couple of loops and then it changes back. I'm not saying that the music is bad-it's actually pretty well orchestrated- it just wasn't enough for me, So I am giving it a 6
Addictiveness: 6
This game is not addicting sometimes. It kind of changes. At some parts, you just wanna keep on playing for hours, but at some parts, it gets boring, and you don't want to play. For example, if you get really far but forget to save (this happens to me a lot and I hate it!!!) you're just kind of... not motivated. Like you don't want to do all of that again. This game can be pretty fun and addicting, though. I give it a 6.
Story: 7
The story is pretty good for a Pokémon game. There are some boring parts, easy parts, hard parts, and parts that keep you on the edge of your seat (that last one was kind of an exaggeration...). It has May: a quirky, energetic Girl who is your rival. It has Wally, too, who I explained earlier. I can't tell much without spoiling, but the story definitely deserves a seven.
Depth: 10
This game's depth is definitely a 10. There is so much stuff to do! You can defeat the Pokémon league, try to level up your Pokémon to lvl 99, Get a bunch of master ribbons in contests, Search every place in the region, talk to everybody, go to the battle area and beat all of the bosses there, find rare Pokémon, and, of course, catch 'em all! There are endless possibilities to do in this game. So, without a doubt, this game's depth is a big, 10!
Difficulty: 7
This game is kind of hard. If your Pokémon are at a high level and you're loaded with items, you've got nothing to worry about. The bosses and gym leaders and some trainers can get hard, and may reeeealy gets annoying at times.Altogether, though, its just at a kind of normal level of difficulty, so I give it a 7.
Wrap things up
Although I gave some things low ratings, this game is a pretty fun game altogether. It is a Pokémon game after all, and Pokémon games are fun! I'd recommend for you to play this game, it's a really fun game Overall: 8
