My 32 inch Samsung has sound but no picture. I think I have had it for a few years or so, the model no is Ln32B460B2D. It shows the volume when I turn it up and down, and shows the menu just fine, it also works fine for my other sources, like it can play my games just fine. My TV work fine last night when I went to bed, but I turned it on this morning and this happens. So please someone tech savvy please help me, what is the cause of this.

What's not working? Cable or do you have satellite for TV? If Cable, are you sure that the cable is properly screwed into the port all the way. When it becomes loose, the picture gets staticy and less clear until it's non-existent. If you're using antenna by some chance, same deal.

Do you have a cable box? Make sure connections are secure at that end too. Are you sure the box even still works? Try contacting your cable provider for assistance.

If you're using satellite (Dish/DirectTV), where is it plugged in? HDMI1? Make sure the connections are secure at the TV and box end. If that doesn't help, do you have other HDMI ports to switch it to?

If you can't solve it still, contact your satellite provider and make sure their equipment is still good.

If none of that helps, your TV might just be bad (probably a port issue if game systems still show picture) and there isn't much you can do about this unless you can somehow get your TV through a difference source that doesn't require the bad port.

Crazy Li: Thank you for the reply, I fixed it. I called Comcast, and I guess my cable box wasn't very well connected so I unplugged it, and plugged it back in, and now it works fine.
