So. Apparently, while I don't sleep walk, I do sleep talk, I do sleep drink, I do sleep sit, shift, and a bunch of other things... and I apparently also hit things in my sleep. Found that last one out from my boyfriend who suffered it when he held me while I slept and he watched some show with a fighting robot in it - and I started "fighting" along with the show. Pretty creepy, if you ask me.

So, what do you guys do in your sleep?

I sometimes kick in my sleep, roll over, or hit a wall. >.< I don't really do much in my sleep though...  It's funny seeing what people do in their sleep though.  (I don't mean to sound like a creeper.)  Once I went camping with a friend, and we were sleeping in elevated tents, and she fell through the tent, and she fell onto the ground...  She started to flip out about some book she was reading too...
I went to the edge of the tent and said, "Abby!  Don't go into the light!"  She also drew all over herself with sharpie that night too.  I'm glad I don't do that in my sleep...

I'm told I'm very active in my sleep. I apparently will kick people who are near me. I toss and turn like crazy. I tend to wake up flipped upside down (basically laying on the opposite end of where I went to bed) and in all crazy sorts of positions. I probably talk in my sleep too.

I'm reasonably active in my sleep, but not as much as I used to be. I've sleepwalked once or twice and woke up on the opposite end of the bed. But recently I woke up without a shirt, it was lying down next to my bed, but I never remembered taking it off.

The most i have done is roll around in bed or get up from the living room asleep and get into bed, and never remember that I've done it. Just i remember i fell asleep in the living room and woke up in my bed, and i knew no one in my house would carry me lol.

shawnfawn :

I have bedrails to avoid falling off or accidentally hurting myself in my sleep. As far as the sharpie goes - maybe she shouldn't sleep with pens and markers and the like. :p I don't draw on myself... thankfully.

Crazy Li :

I used to do that! I got better about the kicking though when I got my Shih-Tzu and he started sleeping with me. Now, if something is sleeping next to me, I tend to be very, very still. (It's stuck in my mind that it is my dog so I don't want to wake him.)

Clayton 2 :

Oh, sleep-stripping! Sounds sexy :p (Joking)
My boyfriend does that rather often. But it's like the only thing he actually does in his sleep; it's rather strange.

iplaytoph :

I guess that would fall under sleepwalking? In that case, I've done that, but never often... You're lucky to be not sleep-active.

Clayton 2 : Haha... I've woken up with less clothes on than I fell asleep with before. It usually happens when I'm playing my PS3 right before I go to bed... I think maybe because that makes my room really hot so even in my sleep, I'm trying to cool off. Of course as it gets later at night and it's been a while with the PS3 off, it'll get really cold and I'll start to freeze, so THEN I try to get warm again... in the end I wind up curled up in sheets and blankets but without clothes @.@

I am quite active when I am asleep  I sleep talk, sleep laugh (im not sure if this should be seperate or not), I have never sleep walked as such but I have done gymnastics in my sleep (which was filmed which was both funny and conserning that my sister filmed me at gone midnight asleep) and I can not even do half the stuff I was doing when I was awake.

ant123ant :

Yeah, I think that we are capable of more when we are asleep because we don't worry about the outcome so much. We just do it. Y'know?

I mainly roll over in my sleep and that's about it.  LOL  I've been told that I sleep with my eyes open a lot, but other than that, I'm a pretty calm sleeper.  I think I just steal blankets a lot.

Only rarely have I slept in my talk.

I would imagine it'd be a bit scary to realize you were actually performing physical tasks while sleeping..

These days, the most I do is maybe roll over. I have occasionally woken myself up when I am in a dream and am trying so hard to do something but because when sleeping, your body movement is restricted you can not. Instead, I will try so hard that I actually jar my body and wake up. I have punched a wall or kicked the blanket once or twice. I think I also have gotten myself to look at the clock while half-asleep, and so it became incorporated in a dream of mine.

When I was in school, there were a few small occasions where I actually sleep-walked. In most cases, it was simply to the bathroom, but there was one time where my brain was just so much in automatic mode that I was not aware of my surrounding until I was halfway through a shower. I had just gotten so used to that routine, my body and mind were on auto-pilot. I could not remember how I got myself in there.

I also wake myself up often when I figure out I am in a dream or try to change what is going on in the dream because I disagree with it. Sometimes those turn into lucid dreams, but they are almost always short lived because I get excited that I can control it. Usually I get overloaded with what I can do, thoughts like "Ooh I can fly if I want, no wait, I will summon my old crush, no wait, I will make a video game world and be the hero, no wait-" then I wake up. Once and awhile I can successfully control the dream for a duration but it still is short lived, either losing focus of what I want to happen or waking up.

Very active in sleep. I fall out of bed so often its normal to me.
This very morning I woke up in a position that would have made professional contortionists and yoga extremists flinch.
This is because of a small bed, a terrible sleeping habit and being spindly.

I've never sleep-walked, but I've sleep-talked, or rather sleep-shouted. Though that is rare.

Not very active... The only thing I do is rolling.

However, I've been told that I sleep-talked once.

I don't even move when I sleep. I wake up EXACTLY how I went to sleep. I'm not very active when sleeping, I'm not very active at all. I'm probably only active on this forum. I've sleep walked before though but that was only once and I ended up in the middle of the town with my aunty, I don't know how that happened but it did.

All I ever do in my sleep is roll around whether I have dreams or not. I'll go to sleep laying in a good position with my bed sheet perfectly normal and I'll wake up with my legs in an uncomfortable position and my bed sheet will be completely messed up and far away from me. And for some reason I always wake up facing to the left
