Man, the nostalgic feeling I get just booting up this game almost brings a tear to my eye. I can remember many years ago, I was maybe about 12 or 13, when I first got this game for the GBA. I was totally addicted the moment I began to play. I suddenly found myself trying for 100%, beating it again on hard difficulty, etc.

Oh the time I would devote to learning every secret in the game, trying to see if I could damage the SA-X before the final confrontation with it, trying to beat the game in under 2 hours (Of course, we all know what that's about ), all of these things nearly took up my entire 8th grade summer period. But it was worth it.

I've played and beaten the original Metroid, all of the Prime games for the GC and the Wii (Other M included) and have been currently working on beating Super Metroid (Hey I'm not that old, it's new to me) but even throughout all my Metroid experience, Fusion will still hold a very special place in my heart as one of the best.

Who can forget the final battle of Fusion, when the SA-X saves Samus from certain defeat (Sound familiar?), from the hands of Omega Metroid. True, the SA-X's reasoning may of been because it found the Omega to be a greater threat, but hey, as a young kid I still never lost the idea that maybe it had a change of heart and became your friend. It was these types of moments that really brought back the old gamer inside of me and got me ready to make yet another run on planet SR388, and face the SA-X and the X parasite once again.

This game is easily one of the greatest games ever for the GBA, and in my opinion, one of the best Metroid games. I highly recommend this game to any self respecting gamer who is looking for a great GBA game.

I never actually played Metroid Fusion, but I've watched many game plays of it and I must say I love the game. Especially the SA-X, it's been very popular in the rom hacking community this game.

This review has just passed the benchmark for 100 words, but I'd love to hear your opinions on why you like it and why this game is nostalgic for you. Could you perhaps express yourself a little bit more for us?

Of course! One of the reasons why I cut my response so short was because I wanted to get back to playing the game!  But I wouldn't mind going ahead and adding some personal details about why I like it.
