Is anyone else thining VB is loading slowly?

Im at uni.


And its quite slow to load things...

Also, at home, scrolling is jumpy... Im thinking maybe its something to do with if David v7.5 has added any new adds, or if addblock plus is having a mental attack when loading vizzed.

Well, I tried to see what you're talking about. I loaded pages of Vizzed with a quickness and my speeds aren't as good as yours. I tried Vizzed in all my browsers I have: IE, Safari4, and Chrome. None of them had any problems. Although, the scrolling is jumpy. It works normally but if you try to scroll fast, your page'll be all the way up top/down bottom.

Yeah, I know what you mean Fatbob, pages used to load faster instead of processing in up to over 2 seconds. The general speed seems slower too.

AS for the jumpyness, that only happens in firefox for me, but it only happens at vizzed, so it's most probably the combined fault of firefox being rather slow and vizzed not having the best coding.

Yeah must be a coding issue because as you all know, Vizzed Board is on it's own server (and with godaddy) so therefore, top speeds. Could be the database just getting cluttered to, who knows...maybe I'll optimize it or defrage the server or something.

Yeah because when it only lags on one webpage, it's obviously the browsers fault.

Vizzed could be on a lot better hosting, I'm not bashing you Dave but most major hosts dont have individual servers for your site. And if they do it might be like a Pentium 3 or 4 or so. I am hosted with Ecan Solutions and I have a rocking connection. See so for yourself here. I pay cheap and I have unlimited bandwidth and such. But thats me a lot of big companies have been facing problems because of not following their word.

A lot of people download stuff from vizzed and play GB,GBC and NES games on the board which probably slows the server down a tad but the board loads just fine for me.
