After playing this game for about 20 minutes, I can conclude that I love Pokemon and Touhou even more now.

The sprites are very well done, I can recognize familiar Touhou characters and everything looks exactly like what it's supposed to. When you go as far as to look at your iDollDex and look at the map to see where you caught your Bone'ka, the icon is still the male or female character, but otherwise it's very well done.

Also, the music implemented is never out of place, and it's great that it's also from Touhou!

As far as the depth, story, and difficulty goes, it's about the same as Pokemon, which already excels at those 3 things and more. I like how it's not a complete copy of the game, areas do look different, and it's a really fun game to get into if you're a Pokemon and/or a Touhou fan.

I agree.  Both are excellent games.  I believe that some of Nintendo's best work was on the Game Boy Advance.  Pokemon inparticularly.  The graphics are amazing and the sound is stunning.  All in all a great system with great games.  And now with great hacks.
