I actually think 6 is the easiest classic series Mega Man game. The first time I played it, I beat it in one three hour session. I had beaten the Mega Man 1-5 before I played it though.

All the Mega Man games are tough but once you get 1 or 2 bosses out of the way, they all become pretty easy.

Also, if you're playing them on the board here in our NES Game Room, please note that you can use a controller instead of a keyboard to make things a lot easier.

I beat the game on the Anniversary collection for Game Cube. My one tinny complaint is that you have to go and collect Sub-tanks when you use a password from when you last played, even if you had a lot of sub-tanks, they get reset to zero. But yeah, I've beaten it. Good game.
