tailsdoll6541 : You can have Ground Trap and Air Power and keep on pressing R for the Ground Trap and when the enemies respawn keep on pressing A and than R for the Air Power. I hope this will help you.

Here's a nice trick in the future when possible... if you're using a character who can fly, spam their jump attack (I think it's jump B? It's been too long since I played the game) but basically every flier has a jump attack where they kinda spin in place as they hit the enemy and stay airborne from hitting them which means you can keep mashing the button to continuously spin and attack. The A.I. is usually dumb enough to stay trapped in the move until it KOs. It's good to assign one of these moves to Emerl as soon as one becomes available so he can abuse this tactic too. The best one is probably Tails's, as he whacks them with his tails as he hovers in the air. Rouge has a pretty good one too, though. Cream doesn't do it nearly as well, but it still can be made to work.
