All. Hail. The. Redeemer. This Pokémon game was one that I've always loved, in fact at one point I owned three of this game and had no idea how. I found myself playing this game for hours and hours on end after I first bought it and didn't see myself stopping anytime soon. While this game wasn't much of a challenge for me, I still found it extremely addictive. Those Summer days of breaks between business I found myself playing this game and every time I played it was like the first. What this game lacks in difficulty, it more than makes up for with the extra features. Random scattered battle tents taking the place of the contest halls, I admit, did have me skeptical at first, especially since I'm really a contest person. But after I realized the contests were put into one place in Lilycove, it did slightly ruin the authenticity of travelling Pokémon Contest competitions, but it also provided convenience since you didn't need to fly from town to town just to enter another rank(Or worse if you didn't have fly yet, having to walk from town to town just to participate in other ranks).

The Battle Tents were an interesting edition. I loved how each one had a different condition to it and I especially enjoyed the one in Verdenturf town (If I'm not mistaken) where it was mainly up to your Pokémon to choose which move to use. It made you realize friendship level and training really does mean something more than a level up or evolution requirement.

Graphics I have to say were an amazing improvement. I love the graphics on buildings and in towns, or in case anyone had noticed, in games like Fire Red, Leaf Green, Blue, Yellow, Etc. The details in the faces of opposing trainers left alot to be desired. The adorable little dance a Pokémon does when being released into battle is actually a feature I like looking for in Pokémon games ever since the release of Emerald. The water graphics are also commendable, I love how the water along shorelines bubbles or how your footprints stay in the sand for a bit.

Sound wise, I think this game was interesting. I would notice the cries of Pokémon in the background of a cave or forest and it really gave the game an interesting factor. Sometimes I would stand still in the middle of a cave or forest just to hear what Pokémon cries out in the background.

Story wise I think this followed the traditional Pokémon story pretty well. But I love how Legendaries actually come into play more. In previous games the Legendaries were there for the catching, but there wasn't much of a story revolving around them. Zapdos, Moltres, and Articuno were just there to be caught, Suicune(Played a slightly bigger part), Raikou, and Entei were roamers and Ho-Oh and Lugia were just there in their respective places. However, in this game, You get to see a new story of the Legends. Kyogre and Groudon's battle brought to life right in front of the hero and the search for the Legendary Raquaza, A favorite. Then in addition, as a Post-game story you have the Battle Frontier which I found an exceptionally exciting piece. The Battle Frontier was that Personal Quest in a way that made me want to catch and raise more Pokémon so that I could have more of a variety in challenging the different attractions. (My favorite being the Battle Pike)

Difficulty, not so much. This game isn't the least bit difficult for me, more so than it is a patience game like other Pokémon Games. Many people tend to confuse frustration with patience and difficulty. (No offense to any of you that are impatient xD Cause I'm impatient too)

All in all I think this is a very interesting, fun, well-made, and addicting game that I can't seem to put down. =D
