Of all the Final Fantasy Weapons, what do you think was the most powerful and most difficult to beat? I left some out such as ultima and omega from FFX and ultima from FFVII since they were lousy pushovers and don't deserve a place up there. As for Nemesis, I've put 140+ hours into FFX and still haven't gotten access to him so I don't know yet. But as a guess I'm thinking he'll be a pushover for my characters whose stats are higher than they deserve to be(except Rikku because she's cool)

My choice: Omega from FFV

This guy was ridiculous and then some. I still haven't beaten him and I even tried cheating once. Of course when I cheated I hardly knew how to play the game but even so, he's no wimp. Not even close.

My favorite pushovers:
Ruby
Emerald
Ultima from FFVIII


Ruby was easier than he was made out to be.
Emerald was even easier.
Ultima was just a wimp if you didn't know how to play really well and was just fun to kill...over and over with one hit(3 seconds into the fight to )

Emerald wasn't too bad if you knew how to play your cards. Omega from FF 8 wasn't bad either. I don't know about the one from FF V.

Boy I see that everyone agree that FX Weapon is the hardest. The next one is FF8 Omega Weapon(999999 HP)

I think it had about 1,200,000 hp actually. But I am not sure.

Ive betten all the others except for Nemesis in FFX. I managed to take half of his life points...but I got tired and gave up.
He's SUPER SUPER hard to beat. But you can beat him if Yojimbo does his overdrive attack. But it's hard to do.
I think you have to give him a lot of money...Like $450,000 or something like that.
And Omega weapon in FF8 does have around 1,200,000 because you can kill him instantly with Squall's LionHeart attack!

It's pretty sad, I watched my friend use Gameshark agains't Nemesis and he still lost ...


I had no problem with Omega, if you had a handful of Hero's he was quite easy, especially if you're good at manipulating Squall's limit break.

Emerald Weapon was the hardest in my opinion because I defeated him without even having KOTR.

Lol I killed nemesis with Yojimbo in one hit... that's the fun thing about him...

Emerald was insanely easy because I did the barret trick and beat him in just under two minutes, XD!!! Level 4 limits kick ass! espescially 8 of them.

So I'm just going to pick FFX one though because when Yojimbo just sicked his dog on the thing it took a little bit of work ot kill it.

I can't wait to play Nemesis...unfortunately I savagely ripped my PS2 apart and threw it away. Maybe I exaggerated but it was already broken anyways. Has anyone played the FFV weapon? Also, I have yet to see Yojimbo's best attack...I've payed lot's and lot's and lot's of money and he refuses to show it to me
Besides...I don't like using Eions when I fight so I'll probably beat Nemesis with good ol' Party fighting ^^

I have beaten every aspect of FF7, except for Ruby Weapon.

Ruby was kinda tough, just because you had one person.

Yeah, but theres a trick to that so you have more then one person, fool.

Ruby Weapon was easy, 'cause I cheated and used Cat Sith's Game Over tech on it. All you have to do equip a Ribbon and you're immune to ANYTHING they throw at you(This works on ALL FF, not just 7) and I think the hardest hidden boss is Ozma from FF9, I've tried everything on him, and I still can't go more than 7 rounds with the little pain. Oh, Another secret I've learned, Try Muteing the big Bosses. Most of 'em are able to be muted or have some other random weakness that's so stupid, Like posioning the Materia Guardian in FFX(it cancels out it's Regen effect) or turning the boss after Titus' dad to a zombie and then casting full life on it, They happen 'cause of some oversite on the part of the game, and their fun to watch try to cast the biggest, baddest spells in the game, and then get stopped by the effect...

Nemesis "Omega Gold"(FFX) sounds awsome, but i think rubys the hardest, i still havnt done it yet.

Isn't the one under the water, in FFVII he kills all of my guys in one hit, I am almost like level 80 also, well maybe 100 but It's still hard....

Cookie, that's Emerald Weapon. Don't go NEAR him until you're Lvl 99. Well, I have heard of people beating him around your level, but even at Lvl 99 he's still very capable of turning your poor party into sewage.

I will beat him at my level, I just have to be on my feet 24/7 and make sure that I play him a TON so I know what to expect I've only played him like 3 or 4 times and 2 was an accident

The attack your refering to is 'Air Taio Storm' it is a Materia based attack. If you a Master Magic equip it. And no other Magic Materia. The more you equip the more it does. Hence 16 materia means he will do 16000 or 9999.

So reduce your Materia limit to do it. Spread the magic accross all characters. However this means you will need them all alive at the one time.
