I think my favorite is Twilight Princess Link, I like the older Links, and I liked the cool moves you could do, made it seem he was more of a swordsman than the other ones. Plus I kind of liked that he was more mature, and he transformed into a wolf. Hopefully the next Zelda will be darker since we just had a lighter game, and the Links from the darker games are my favorites.

Dark Link hands down, he looks like a complete bad ass and is one if you don't use the Megaton Hammer in Ocarina of Time or attack him from the corner in Zelda 2. He is my favorite recurring enemy in the series and I love to use him the Super Smash Bros games.

I have to go with the first Link. (From Zelda 1 and 2 the Adventure of Link.)
The Armies of Monsters Link takes on in those games are enough to make Foxhound from Metal Gear Sweat. Sometimes you hit the bullseye on the first try. In this case the developers did.
All the other Links are a far-cry from the Original. They Fight Monsters, just not the same amounts. Almost as though they are spoon fed. "Oni-Link" is Impressive (Deity's have that tendency.) But he is just a mask. "Dark Link" is a Cool Mystery. Its fun to invent a strange story from time to time to explain what or who he is. Yet still, his first appearance is "Zelda 2." He was Links Shadow.(A part of the whole.) The other Links all wear tights. Or just a frilly skirt. (Its not a kilt. Its not pants. I can see his legs.) I have to go with the First Link that wears Leather Pants, Needs a drink when he's down instead of needing a fairy, and has the courage to fight armies with any old Sword.(The first one was rusted brown.) From that first game he gets a T.V. show. How many of the other Links can boast that?

All Humor aside. I like everyone else's answers. I just thought it would be interesting to have an aged opinion in a less than mature or serious conversation.

Man, for me it has to be the Link from Ocarina of Time. I think he was the original, and the best. My favorite memory from OoT was when the almighty Link pulled the Master Sword from its pedestal, transforming Link into an adult.

If we are talking about Links that don't have to be in the main franchise, then I have to go for the Dark Link (playable) in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. If we are talking about Links from the games, my money is on the Link from Twilight Princess. His hawkeye gives him really good accuracy, and his bomb arrows are amazing. He can use bombs underwater, send moving bombs (like the Chu Chus from OoT), and smash anything slow moving apart with his ball and chain. He can use his double clawshots to cover ground quickly. He also looks cooler than most of the other Links. I prefer the dark colors of Twilight Princess to bright vibrant colors of Skyward Sword or the cell shading of Wind Waker.
