I listen to music almost constantly because it relaxes me and helps me concentrate. It improves the quality of my writing and allows those "creative juices" to flow. Of course, the genre I pick depends on my mood... but that's sort of aside from the point. I'm curious what makes other people... what motivates them to, listen to music. Could you possibly answer that?

Music is definitely great for a calming technique; I have used it for such ever since I was little. It and certain stuffed animals used to be (and actually damn near still are...) the only thing that could help me when I flipped out.
