Since Nintendo has come up with so many interfaces for its Wii - U product, they have now revealed a new component for Nintendo users...the Tvii.  What this component is going to to do in a sense is act like a universal remote for your Wii touch pad.  Now everyone who enjoys using their Wii to watch movies , download games, surf the web, will have all that rolled into their Tv.  Users can log into many different accounts under the touch pad before having it directly simulated in front of them on their Tv.  While this concept is not exactly new it does have a special feature that will help set it apart from most other contenders that essentially do the same thing and that is called "Moments."
Moments is basically going to be a self directed screenshot taker that goes active during whatever experience you are using at the time.  And as a result at the end of your venture you can use your touch pad and review the many screen shots it has taken for you and share them socially.  Sound stunning? Eh... well anyway Nintendo might have had the same sentiments because the extra boost to this "Moments" concept is that Nintendo wants you to be able to sociallize while you review or use this system.  A chat can be set up during, after or before any media is being used giving users the chance to communicate with each other through the Nintendo network.  This perk might be enjoyable for those of us who enjoy watching live sports or other news medias where having a few pals to chat with can make it just that much better.  Alas unlike Netflix, TVii wont tell you what you probably want to watch and force a stream of a hundred movies into your queue, it will simply remind you of what you have enjoyed thus far, almost like a soft little kitty helper with bold bright eyes.....  This gift has been cited to be a great gift for both children and their parents for its easy access and user friendly settings.

dumptruck : I noticed you said "everyone who enjoys using their wii to watch movies" this is a whole new system that is being released in November. This feature isn't available for your original Wii. Not sure if that's clear or not.

Good article. I'm excited for the new console to come out.

dumptruck : I think 299 and 350 is a reasonable price for the new system with some sweet game exclusives. Add on the fact that they will have the same 3rd party support as the rest of the consoles (having Call of Duty Assasins creed III etc should get some of the "hardcore" base back that they have been missing for years. I am very excited to see what it can do.

Honestly, I don't see the appeal to this feature for the Wii U. I mean, I have a remote. Why use my Game Pad as one? Don't get me wrong, I guess it could be kind of convenient, and maybe I'm just missing something, but I've read a lot of people talk about how excited they are for this, and I don't get it.

The Wii U is just stupid and pointless, enough said. I love Nintendo's games, but I am sick of their mediocre hardware, and Mario is just turning into a copy-paste series at this point.

That sounds pretty cool! I'll have to remember to get it when I buy the Wii U.

Huh, I never really thought that something like a Wii U to make a TV product to come with it. Not really complaining, and I don't have a Wii U yet, but something to test out later if I get it.

Sounds pretty cool! Out of all the companies that are in the video game business, Nintendo probably as far as I know has the most accessories. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
