This game isn't bad, but it's not as high of a quality title as you would expect from a Sonic game. I think Sega got REALLY lazy with this game. The tracks are generally basic and Sega recycled themes from the first game.

Gameplay C-: The gameplay is not terrible, but it's not exciting like a Sonic game should be. The tracks only a few turns in them. Some of them have more but generally the tracks are easy to go by. There is power ups but the tracks are so short that it seems like they aren't even there. To be fair though the gameplay is fairly fast and there's not very many annoyances in the game.

Graphics B+: The visuals are colorful and good looking, and the scaling is not that bad, however the themes were copied off the first freaking game. C'mon Sega a least put in some themes from Sonic 2, and Sonic CD. When you win all 3 cups there is a little cut scene for each character.

Sound B-: The music is okay but it's very fast and upbeat. There's not much to say about it though.

Addictiveness D: Due to the fact that I could easily beat this game in 15 minutes. The game is not addicting. The tracks require little to no technique. It's just plain boring.

Depth A: There are plenty of tracks to race on and there are 4 characters to choose from. There's also a time attack mode, two player mode, and  grand prix mode.

Difficulty easy: Any one could easily play this game. Here's the catch anyone would get bored playing this game.

Yeah the review is how I would describe the game dude. I was expecting more from the game before I played it.

I have played this Game before on the Game Gear (Sonic Mega Collection Plus for PS2 and Xbox released in 2005) and I thought it was challenging at first but easy when I kept on playing. I have seen all of the endings and I thought some of them are pretty funny.
