A big challenge dedicated to pikachu's! You may only use pikachus and only pikachus with gym battles and elite 4 challenge. You may use other pokemon for hm's but other than that you can't use them. When you face a gym leader on the last pokemon show your party during the battle same with the elite 4. If you manage to do this you will get the 10k Viz. I know this is possible since I know somebody that has done it and won.

Following the rule of a Nuzlocke, this is pretty impossible without altering the rules big time.

First of all, every Nuzlocke I've done or seen done involved catching the first pokemon you encountered. In the Viridian Forest, you have a low chance of finding Pikachu as your first pokemon. Following the standard rules of a Nuzlocke, it is next to impossible to do.

Furthermore, again, following a Nuzlocke, you can only catch ONE pokemon in each area. Which means one pikachu in the viridian forest. I haven't played Pokemon Fire Red or Leaf Green in a long ass time... but I think I'm right in saying there are limited areas pikachus are in... in fact, aside from Viridian Forest, and the Power Plant (where they are rare finds in Fire Red and Leaf Green... they were uncommon in Blue and Red I believe), you can only ever have two pikachus.

While it's still possible to beat the game using only 2 pikachus, you are putting a lot of faith in your pikachus to NEVER ONCE DIE AT ALL EVER IN THE GAME. Odds are, pikachu will fail at the Pewter Gym unless you power level to an insane level, at which point, you will be too strong to catch the pikachu at the power plant unless you use a master ball. And let's be honest, what kid is going to get to the master ball, and remember SPECIFICALLY to go back to the power plant to catch the pikachu with it? May as well do it with just that one pikachu.

My point is, you should be a lot more clear with the rules. You said "Nuzlocke" and what you are describing makes the game harder, but isn't a "true" Nuzlocke.

legacyme3 : I meant like a pikachu nuzlocke a one of those you have to do first catch pokemon in a area. This one you can only use a pikachu but can use other hm pokemon but not with gyms it is supposed to be much harder is why I said pikachu. At least I didn't say magikarp...

Which games are we allowed to do this on? Do you mean on the Vizzed site? I am sorry if this question seems incredibly dumb to you, I am just wondering. I mean, if I did it on Soul Silver, I could still take pictures and post them to prove my progress, and I would be able to work on it even when I do not have access to a computer (which is pretty much all the time- I have to share this thing with everyone else in the house. It's a miracle I get to stay on vizzed as long as I do). Thanks in advance.
