I've been trying to find the best software so I can download the plug-in even though I have a Mac. I found one and downloaded the demo and unsuccessfully tried to install the plug-in through that program. If anyone has a suggestion on which crossover software I should download, that'd be great! Also, could you please tell me how I'd install the plug-in through that program? Thanks!

First, you should have told us what software you used so we could avoid suggesting that one.

Anyway, most crossover suites require that you own a legitimate (or otherwise) copy of Windows and actually install it within your virtual machine. Parallels is pretty good, and I've heard that it actually seamlessly integrates Windows programs into OS X.

Other good suggestions are VMWare or, if you're feeling really adventurous, QEMU.

applesarefood12 : You would need software that allows you to install a fully functional version of Windows. VMware is what I personally prefer. I've also heard Bootcamp is good. Something that allows you to dual boot windows. This isn't as easy as it sounds though so don't just think you can install a small program and presto. Also you need to have a complete copy of windows that is compatible with the plugin(XP or newer)

id also suggest vmware, and yes, that requires a copy of your desired o.s.
Additionaly you want to have a decent amount of ram etc to assign to it if youre playing games.
Its ironic. Emulating something so you can use it to emulate something.

Thanks guys. Not really interested in spending lots of money on the OS software so I'll just stick to using the java programs.

You know, there are plenty of sites out there where you can download ROMs and emulators that don't require going through Vizzed. Davideo even runs one of them!

Would you mind telling me which other sites he has emulators on? You can private message me if you aren't allowed to post on here. (In case it counts as advertising/spam).
