Right. I do those, but they work more the front abs and arms. I need workouts for my obliques.

Obliques is a tough one to hit.  I suggest planks, and planks with an exercise ball.  I'd explain them but it's easier to google image search the exercises.  Obliques are also limited to showing off by how much water you drink.
If you're well hydrated, you won't show the muscles as much.  The body is about 80% water so you need to dehydrate if you're trying to show off a six-pack or whatever.  It's not safe to be dehydrated so do the planks to develop the muscle groups.

Also, sprints do a good job building abs and back.  Your core is what you're looking to develop.

Good luck!

Start doing free weight squats, deadlifts, military press, barbell rows, and bench. All of them require stabilization of the core. Honestly you never need to do an ab workout at all. The best way to get more impressive abs is to lose bodyfat. Heavy squats will develop amazingly rock hard ab muscles.

Planks, Curl-ups, & doing squats with 10 pound medicine balls are really good ways to improve your abs. A lot of other things in a workout routine like push-ups, and just plain lifting weights also help your abs without you really noticing it. Probably just do a mix of a lot of different things, and include the few I mentioned at the beginning.
