Well, it's almost time for my graduation, so my parents decided to let me pick a laptop when I graduate. I have 4 choices (which are listed above).

The Dell Studio laptop has a built-in web camera and a microphone.

Sony CS comes with a built-in webcam.

Apple just comes as a laptop.

The XPS comes with a built-in microphone.

So, which one should I get? I'm kind of having trouble deciding.

I would originally choose the Dell XPS®: 5GB RAM/500GB HD but it is a lot of money so I don't really know but the Dell® Studio laptop sounds like a good laptop and it comes with a mic and web camera.

I've had a lot of bad experiences with Dell. I'd recommend that Sony. And that Mac is probably half as powerful as those other 3 laptops so stay away from that.

Care to show the other specs? Say, GPU, CPU, and Mobo?
I don't pick computers solely on RAM. XD

I agree, not nearly enough info to make a good decision. However, based on the brands the Sony would have my vote so far.

Personally I would say get a Gateway, but of the ones you list I say that the Dell Studio has a good setup for only $700.

My laptop was $1260 and worth every penny, so you shouldn't hesitate on the XPS due to price... I just think that you would not need that big of a hard drive. Well, unless you are a download fiend or something.
