This type of thread is sort of popular on another forum I visit so I thought I'd bring a version over here.
In this thread we post about things we have bought or received.
I suppose in a way it's like a bragging thread, but why not.

Try and be descriptive! I'm sure we all like hearing about what cool gadgets and such others have bought and how happy they are.

I'll start off. As most know I'm an avid collector and have been buying lots of manga recently.
Today I got myself a boxset containing 14 volumes of the Love Hina manga as well as a new bookshelf to store it on.
Even though I already have that particular series as anime on DVD, for $50 I just couldn't say no!

Recently I got this new phone that's really cool. It's an android, so it's useful for other things other than, well, you know, calling, and texting. It's got fun game apps, and I can use the internet. It's called a Samsung Galaxy Prevail, if you want to know what it looks like. Funny thing is, I was going to take it back because of the network, but decided not to. I don't regret this decision. It's a very useful phone. I use it for Vizzed a lot, too. Haha.

So... I got upset last Sunday because my sister didn't let me come with her during her masteral degree graduation since Ateneo required them to bring a maximum of 2 persons only for every MBA graduate. I was left alone in the condominium but I didn't expect her to bring something really cool with her after the graduation: A lenovo u300. I don't know when she bought it, and when I'll use it since I still have my Blue Acer Aspire 4740...
And also I think I'm getting addicted with these ergo wireless stuff like the mouse and keyboard. ^^:;;
So... Some nice stuff there, I've been looking at upgrading my phone recently so it's nice to hear others opinions on that.
I might go with a Galaxy Note though cause it has some pretty cool features

This should be funny to explain: I recently bought a Wii - but not for the Wii games... see I moved in with my current roommate who has his own flatscreen in the living room and I own a Gamecube which I used my own flatscreen for which had an S-Video connection - his doesn't.

So I looked for a Gamecube component cable (since GC doesn't support HDMI) and all I can find is the cable listed on the internet for US $100+... since Wii is backwards compatible with Gamecube games, why not just buy a Wii for $150, right?

I wasn't able to find a component cable for Wii in any stores nearby so I ordered it online; received it in the mail yesterday; went to go hook up my unopened Wii - it's a Family Model, didn't even know that this model is incompatible with Gamecube, also lost the receipt....

I'll be out $100 now by trading it in a video game store... won't bother with trying to sell it online.

Basically it's a series of hard cover books with Marvel comics inside each one.

i bought darwins: origin of species(its beautifull little book, gold trim and everything), and the god delusion,by richard dawkins. happily reading through em now. Almost bought the atheists bible too but i wasnt happy with there price.

I usually only go shopping about once a month. I definitely look forward to it. Anyway, to the point. ... on We.dnesday my Mom, sister and I went to WalMart. I was browsing at first and wasn't really planning on buying anything. But I ended up getting two really good smelling aroma therapy candles and some really, really good aroma therapy bubble bath. I sure used to babies when I got home. Haha. Then I bought this St. Ives Apricot face scrub. OMG that stuff not only cleans out my pores, but they make my skin really soft. I have a huge problem with dry skin so this product is amazing for me to use. I actually used it first in a sample so I decided to buy it. I think that's all I bought for myself. I can't really think of anything else. So that's what I bought for this month.

Today we went to the store and I felt a little guilty because I grabbed a few things and then had to put them back. However, I did buy a little pack of stickers that has goofy lizards and tigers and giraffes on it.  I like to put them on my kids' papers, and I'm so excited for the kids to see them!

I was particularly happy to get a Ghost Rare Heroic Champion - Excalibur. It's going straight into my Heroic deck

Wow.....$90 in Yu-Gi-Oh cards is a lot!

I suggest a collection of sticky notes.  Very useful, applicable to any surface.... they're really great!
The best part is that they're cheap!   just bought a neat little pad today that was 99 cents and it had the globe on it!  *gasps* It's beautiful!

I almost have a complete set of Shin Koihime†Musou chibis, they are so cute
The annoying thing is that I bought a box full of them and got every single one except one, so now I either need to buy more blindly and hope to get it or eBay the remaining one

I recently bought $20 worth of gas (doesn't count I assume).
