Vizzed has generated many systems and cartoons, but some old systems are missing, and I wonder if they are even possible. Systems such as: PlayStation, Dreamcast, Jaguar, Saturn (I hear that ones too well protected), Game.com. I hear that PlayStation is too powerful to pull off, but I'm not sure, and I'm probably too small to ask the big guys and gals, but I want to know even if it's not games.

Disc games, like the ones you mentioned, are simply too large to add, because they would eat up so much bandwidth and strain the servers too often, so David doesn't want them in the RGR.

K3ithSton3 : Most of the reasons that these systems aren't available as of yet isn't because the systems are "Too powerful" it's because they haven't gotten the money to program the RGR plugin to work with those emulators. That and some of these systems don't have emulators that either work at all, or work well to make it worth while. Also, some of the companies that developed these systems are very protective of their licenses and thus would either shut down a website like this or threaten legal action if the games weren't taken down. You have to factor all of these things in to see if it would even be worth it or not.

For example the Jaguar emulators hardly work...actually they suck. There aren't too many people worried about programming a decent Jaguar emulator since that system sucks anyways.

That being said some of these systems will be added in the future, and David is looking to add systems all the time. Heck, in the past year he's added like 8 systems to Vizzed. Thing is that in order to get some of these systems online more donations are needed. It costs money to have the bandwidth needed to play some of these huge file games and it costs money to program the RGR plugin to work with those games. The quickest way to get more features on the site is to donate money. Whatever people can afford helps.

Jordanv78 : Yeah I thought about that kind of stuff after I posted the thread, and commented on another thread of similar description, but it would be nice though. Perhaps it's just wishful thinking, but I really want to play AVP. I have a physical Saturn so maybe I should get the Alien Trilogy on it. What IS next though, any speculations?

If the Playstation were on Vizzed the controls would be a nightmare. It's hard enough to make controls for the Nintendo 64, it would be even harder to do it with the 10 button playstation controler. I think the Sega CD would not be to hard to add would it? I mean we have games on Vizzed that are larger than a Sega CD game. I hope that it is added to RGR soon because the actual systems cost a lot of money.

Yeah, all the disc systems dating from PS1 to anything made later than that can't be on the site simply for the size of the games. It would cost a FORTUNE to have servers with the bandwidth capable of handling streaming that much information without crashing. I also wouldn't say Vizzed has a lot of cartoons, as the Toon Room no longer exists (as far as watching is concerned). The videos all came from MegaVideo, which is MegaUpload, which is the company that got shut down by the FBI about half a year ago due to the mountain of laws they were breaking. When they got shot down, all the videos in the toon room were no longer watchable. There are no plans to find new videos. The toon room will actually be replaced with something else eventually.

I always wondered what happened to that toon room. Well I think that stuff like the Sega CD should be possible (though I'm not really sure for I don't really have much experience in this field), 2D game systems should be possible right? Not all of them are on here, but some of them even if they were possible they are probably hard to obtain. Some game systems I just want on here because I'm curious on how they play like the Tiger Game.com. It had no back lit screen so being forced to add one in an emulator(if one exists) would change it a bit.
