Let's see, the controls were laggy in 007 goldeneye but it could have been the player connection. some games work but very few were completed such as Mario kart 64 and Mario party 3. It's not perfect but this is however, beta and hopefully this will be fixed with more game compatibility and less errors.

Here's a thought that could be implemented (if it hasn't already): Allowing users to watch active Netplay sessions without actually joining the game. They can go to the game page (or maybe load the game up) and see if there's any active Netplay sessions going on, and choose to watch it.  It's like being a spectator at someone's house, watching others play the game, only you're doing it online through a live video stream. Unless the the Netplay session is set to "Private Play session" or something. That could  be useful, too.

AnthrozilWarroir3 : I've been testing it and I'm not a trusted+ so I can't see how things get set up, but I believe you can set a switch to allow lurkers to join sessions.

BTW, My current guess is that SNES shows a black screen w/ music or s single frame w/music for everyone except the host and maybe one lucky user.

N64 seems to have a better success rate, but it doesn't always load...

sometimes the game will try to load, but then it'll close the emulator randomly.

Super Puyo Puyo 2 doesn't load. Another problem. Another one is that barely any trusted+ people are in the lobby and I waited a hour (Yeah, one WHOLE hour) just for a trusted+ person to come into the lobby and happy me up.

After testing this for a couple of days , I can say It works for me about 60% of the time. N64 Games work the most for me with a little lag ( Maybe my Internet so, idk. ) SNES games sort of work just sound but no video. Netplay could be a HUGE breakthrough for this website if you can get it working worldwide. Imagine playing any local multiplayer game with someone ONLINE? Tons of fun ^.^ I know this is still beta , but I hope you guys can fix the bugs out. I have hope

Davideo7: Here are some more updated information....

Super Puyo Puyo 2 :Game work fine for me, but the music is lagging.... It works good with 4-players but, it's hard too play because, people say they have a black screen and/or can only here music....

Mario Party 2 :

2-players :
It work okay; it had it hiccups.... The game crashed after a 3 way tie in Grab Bag.

3-players :
It started lagging even more... but at lest it worked!

Also in Mario Kart 64, right before you start a race/battle, it sometimes speeds up for a weird reason....

Also, there are not many trusted+ member in there too make a Netplay session. After waiting +3 hours, we had a Netplay session ready....

Stevie 764: Did you ever try playing an SNES game or a N64 game with just 2-players?I also notice, when you join a game, it speeds up, almost crash, than returns too normal....

Good news! I was able to play tengen tetris without having to deal with a black screen! The problem was when I was playing with seishiro he tried telling me he needed to change controls but I couldn't see that because the chat wouldn't update until I beat him and typed "gg"

I then played with JSHF, but when playing him it seemed as if he would go between not doing anything and moving blocks left to right. Afterwards he said he didn't know what was happening and that it was as if the cpu was playing. He then said that he didn't know which player he was and that he was between being afk and trying to tap left and right on his controls. I believe this might be more of a human error type thing rather than a netplay error.

When I created a session and people joined yesterday, I was never the 1P, and even if people didn't connected to the room ir kept showing taht player 3 player 4, etc has entered the room, sometimes leaving me and others not able to play.

I think it would be a good idea to put into the Netplay a way to select who is nP instead of being in order people come into the session.

Greetings from the netplay lobby!
Wish you were here.

Because no one's here right now.

There's no activity going on today.

It's like a ghost town in there.

Alright, today people actually came in for once. We tried playing some games, but it appears that every game we try crashes before it can even play. I always says it's loading the emu, then it says "Emulator Closed". We though that we should try a system we haven't tested on before; the Turbografx-16/PC-Engine, but we couldn't see if it worked as the game crashed before it could play. Seishiro, tired of the constant failures, decided to take a break for the day, we then ended our testing sessions by talking about how things would be going so much faster if more trusted+ members came in, which kind of happened the first day we started testing, but now the numbers have dwindled down. I hope that the flaws of  the beta will be addressed in the final release.

To future success in online emulation,

I don't mind being a Beta tester I've beta tested a lot of things so I kinda know what to look for. That would include ROMS of all sorts along with forums such as I was a beta tester for Proboards new forum lay out thing(not sure what you would call it)
