SNES is probably the one I've played the most. I've had NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, Wii, GameBoy, GameBoy Pocket, GameBoy Colour, GameBoy Advance, and GameBoy Advance SP. I was such a good little consumer.

I love the Wii but I rarely play it. I loved N64 but I would still go back to SNES here and there. Most of my favorite games are on that system or the playstation.

its a tie between the nes and snes.
nes started it all so just from that it gets mention, but it also brought us megaman, final fantasy, zelda, super mario bros, metroid.
but snes went on to increase quality of games and brought us games that we could play for weeks on end.
chrono trigger, tales of phantasia, final fantasy 3/6, breath of fire.
but snes get the vote because thats the one i played my first epic rpg's on, the one i played the most.

if only nintendo didnt screw up and make enemies out of sony and square then things would be alot different now.
the psx would have been a nintendo console and microsoft would never had been able to get a foothold in the console market.
we lost a golden age of gaming there, thanks nintendo...

I'd blame Sony for that.

Wanting to put their name first? I can understand Nintendo not wanting to budge on not having their system be called the "Sony Nintendo..." whatever. You want your brand first, that's what's best for you.

The SNES-CD was to be announced at the June 1991 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). Well, that's about the same idea, though. I guess it would have been nice if they'd just tried to rework the agreement, but I understand a company canceling something once they realize that. It would have been awesome for consumers, but terrible for Nintendo.

I wasn't alive during the 16-bit era of consoles so i haven't played the SNES as much as some. I have played good ol' game and watch though... i am torn between Game&Watch and N64.

As cool as the wii is, it has its share of issues. The motion sensing could be better and so can the graphics. Wii 2 will have those fixed so I can't wait until it comes out. Now, however, the N64 is the best, because a) the games are awesome b) it is an excellent quality system, mine has worked for over 12 years
