http://www.vimeo.com/3261363

That links to an absolutely fantastic animated explanation of how the Credit Crisis occured. It explains it in easy to understand terminology.

I have also have to point out that, in spite of what Obama and others think, Bush did not cause the financial crisis we are experiencing right now. It's nice to try and blame him for everything bad that happened between 2001 and 2008 but it's not possible.

The only people to blame are those involved in the video. It explains the whole thing very clearly.

that guy did an excellent job explaining everything and yeah, Bush didn't cause the financial crisis. He's responsible for our much of our deficit, but not this crisis. He did kill a multi-billion dollar surplus by wasting gov't money, but this particular crisis is honestly not his fault. The banks and mortgage companies f***ed up this one

Another problem that has been highly passed over is the lack of consumer research. Its the typical american. Buy whats good when its good on a whim. Americans getting mortgages should have ultimatly been more informed before their purchases. Another huge problem with america is the lack of personal responsibility. Something this great country was founded upon.
