What favors on vizzed would you be willing to do for real money? And for how much?

Just curious as to what users are willing to do for real money and to what extent. In the future I might be willing to invest a little money into getting some more content added to the site or to get the site advertised.

And ways I could pay the user could involve buying them gaming cards (such as microsoft points), or buying them something online, or simply just sending them money to their paypal account (if they have one).

Do the articles have to be gaming related or can it be other? I think you should allow it to be any kind of article.

I can probably do videos and articles.

I picked other, I would be willing to record videos for youtube and refer people to the site.
Mostly refer people to the site, on the other options I don't do very well.

I'm pretty desperate for cash, and would take any of those easy jobs to make some quick cash.

I'd write a walkthrough, because walkthroughs can be helpful to people that get lost and don't know what to do.  I don't think I'd be to interested in payment though as writing a walkthrough to me is more of a fun experience than anything else, but if I were to say a price it would be anywhere from 10-20 dollars as walkthroughs can sometimes be quite lengthy.

If you would ask me, recording RGR games for youtube would be my preference. Since I have experience with recording gameplay, it would be around my alley for me.

I would do anything for money on here too. But given how easy it is to add content on the site, I wouldn't pay that much. Unless you're thinking about spending a lot more for a workforce. =P

One thing you could do is just use the Viz exchange rate. (1000 Viz = $1)

Simple Let's Plays. Recording the game kind of an eye tutorial for those who need help. Kind of like a guide or some sort. If it was for money I would say maybe $5 per game. Not per video, but after every game that's completed.

legacyme3 : I'm more willing to pay for content that the site doesn't already have. Walkthroughs are something that we have very little of. I'd hate to ask this of you but do you think you could put together a walkthrough sometime in the future? Based on the quality of the walkthrough you make, that'll help me decide if that's something I'm willing to invest money into. A lot of people already do reviews on the site and while some people do better reviews than others, it's still harder to justify investing money into reviews since we have so many of them.

Pretty much all of the above. I would do anything to make money. Maybe I would even spend some of it on Viz.

I would be more than up for reviews and walkthroughs. Mainly because I will be starting student teaching so I will have to cancel all the kids I see at the mental health center except for the one I have on the weekends because no parent wants their kids to have a session at 6-7pm. I am going to have to look at picking up a night job for the weekdays, keeping my weekend clients at the mental health center, and do student teaching just so my wife isn't supporting us with her 2nd year teacher's salary Any extra cash I can find, I go for it. 

As for how much I would do these for, I would prefer not to set a price. You have read some of my reviews, you know their quality, this is your site, so I would be happy with whatever you think they are worth. I think that if you had set payments, some people would try to find out exactly how little work they can put into them to just pass off as good enough for that amount. If you make it more based on quality where minimum payment is given to those that meet the minimum requirements you set, you should get more people trying to give quality work instead of people just trying to coast easily.

If you did this, you will be getting a butt load of reviews, walkthroughs, articles, videos, etc. So to make it to where you don't get people trying to really rake in money off the site, I would strongly suggest you either setting a maximum amount of things they can submit to you a week or month. I was going to say a maximum amount of money they can make a week or month, but that would just get people who submit a lot of lower quality things until they reach that max. Do it the way I suggested, and users will be more focused on making sure that what they submit is as good as they can do because they only get so many submissions. 

I see, but do the games have to be the games on Vizzed or any other games from video games?

I'll get to work on one sometime later in the week. I'll probably choose a shorter game, since doing one based on a longer game would just be loads more work than can be reasonably expected out of a first try.

rcarter2 : Yeah it's a good idea. Based on how site staff members in the past have tried to do as little work as possible just to meet quota, people would do the same if they were getting paid. I'd have to be very cautious with everything to make sure I'm not awarding more than my budget would allow. Can't afford to lose money.

Seishiro Leonhart : It'd probably be a game that is either in the RGR or the VGR.
