This has happened to me a few times, but I wonder if this ever happens to anyone else. Have you ever spent hours searching the internet for something you saw on a web page who knows how many years ago? This has happened to me on a few occasions, as a mater of fact very recently just to be accurate. I saw a sprite sheet of a character for a snes game quite some years ago, and i even looked it up and found out is was just a Japanese release only, so I didn't pay any mind to it since then. Now, just a few weeks ago, due to how random I surf the internet, and how my memory likes to have things resurface at random, I recalled that person, and how I have a snes emulator, so I figured I would give the game a try, but for the life of me, I couldn't remember the title at all. I searched for days trying to find it, and I finally did find it. I thank whoever on gamefaqs.com that came up with the idea to have screen shots and box shots of almost every game on the site, and it was by this method did I find it. Man did it take me forever to find it, and it is also thanks to the internet, that I found out that the game was based off an anime, which I plan on buying in the near future. The name of the character, is also the name of the title of the show, her name is Iria, and the title for the game was Hyper Iria. I believe I may have found the best anime out there, and I was also wondering if anyone here has heard of it, and have also ever had the cases that I've had, where you see something in one spot, pay no mind to it at the time, then years later, think about it for no real reason, then spend many hours trying to find it again. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

It happened to me. I didn't find it on a webpage though. I recently remembered Mystical Ninja Goemon for the N64. I didn't know the name so i spent hours searching it online. Then when i talked to my bro he remembered the name :O It sucked. But i found the game, downloaded the emulator and rom, and played it. But no emulator, not even PJ64, can play it to but a certain point. I nearly cried i mean, i found a game that i remember playing when i was like 4 and it had so many great memories, amazing nostalgia, then,on the first impact(giant robot) stage, the game freezes

I've done things like that before, but not quite the same. also, It didn't take too long to find it. It was this video making fun of the michael jackson trial that I saw like 4 years ago that I suddenly remembered so I had to check it out. I found it pretty quickly. It still was hilarious. the video is basically a parody of "the way you make me feel"

I do this fairly regularly unfortunately. Most of the time its for a song that I remember seeing the music video for but I cant remember the name or any of the lyrics, all I know is that it was on winamp`s website.

Mega Man model T 101 : It depends on what you’re looking for I guess but it is surprising what you find sometimes while doing internet searches. I have to use internet search engines frequently for research for my columns and other articles that I might be working on and you wouldn’t believe sometimes how many duplicates of the exact same subject I come across even down to word for word content.

I never think anything of it unless if it’s my content word for word with someone else name on it obviously as that would be clear plagiarism. Thankfully, in 15 yrs that hasn’t happened unless someone was using a quote of mine at which case they’d credit me but I could see how that would irritate some people.
