Saw a bit of news the other day saying that Halloween Horror Nights, at least in Florida if that's not the only one, will be featuring Silent Hill in a maze!

Now Silent Hill has become a multi-platform series and has had a movie spawn from it but do you think Universal will be able to do the franchise justice and scare the crap out of people at the same time?

NameEntry :  This is definitely late, but Halloween Horror Nights isn't over yet. I live in Florida, yet I've never been to one. I do know a bit about it, probably no more than others know though. This time, as opposed to the past Horror Nights, they have no safe zones. Usually I guess there were spots you could be where the staff wouldn't try to scare you, but not this time. Surely that would make it a little more terrifying right?

From commercials on TV, I'm guessing it's revolving more around The Walking Dead than Silent Hill, I don't remember seeing anything from Silent Hill in the commercial, but then it did go pretty quick. I can't play Silent Hill, but I am still fascinated by the franchise, so I do know of a lot of the villains in the game. Probably the main Silent Hill baddie that would be shown there are the nurses, maybe a pyramid head, but I wouldn't count on it. I can't imagine them being able to pull off anything like the twin victims, and honestly a lot of Silent Hill bad guys seem very difficult to replicate with a costume.

I've heard different opinions on how scary Halloween Horror Nights is in general, and they're mixed. I'm scared easily, so I wasn't able to play the games, but the movie didn't scare me at all. Halloween Horror Nights, yeah, it would scare me to death. Also, as to can it do the series justice? Probably not, from what I hear most of the latest games don't do the series justice, and there were mixed opinions on the movie.
So maybe I didn't give very good information, or the information you were looking for, but maybe I did.

Well if you see Pyramid Head coming at you with one Huge blade, I would be scared also. Plus the Nurses are creepy as hell also; so I think the maze could work depending on how good the people doing the actors are. Also I wonder why they haven't done a Resident Evil style maze also. Imagine Nemisis coming at you in one large maze.

Oh god. Pyramid Head and and those nurses in real life... just the thought makes me almost poop my pants. If they did it right, it could be something worthy of nightmares.

I could imagine it being all foggy and weird and then the lights going out and then it's all the blood and rust and creepy music. Oh gawwwd. I'd see it. But I'd probably have a heart attack.
