I love Pokemon ever since I started playing Pokemon in fact my first video game was a Pokemon game Pokemon Emerald to be exact. I especially love this franchise for the Mystery Dungeon series since those games are my all time favorite games. So yeah I really love Pokemon and I doubt that will ever change :3

My favorite franchise is Final Fantasy.  The story, visuals, and music are always spectacular, and it perfected the rpg genre.  Moreover it is absurdly addictive.  I detect a strong Final Fantasy influence in many of my other favorite franchises, such as Pokemon, Phantasy Star, Breath of Fire, Lunar, and more  To be honest though, Legend of Zelda is probably either tied or a very close second.  

As far as platformers are concerned, Mario and Sonic have to be the best.  It's hard to choose between the two, I like the old sonic games more than the old marios, but the new mario games are better than most new sonic games, I think. megamanmaniac:

I admit to being a bit all over the place with my favourite franchises at any given time but... the Kirby franchise holds a special place in my heart. I may not show my love for the series all the time, but Kirby has yet to make a game I hate, even oddballs like Epic Yarn. They're all fun with some lighthearted and even beautiful tunes (Sometimes), and even though I only ever rented Kirby 64 as a kid, that game still became a precious part of my childhood. Even in Super Smash Bros. I've used Kirby for every instalment and have refused to abandon him for better characters.

I have to say for me it's the Civilization series of games. At least after the first one. If you've played them you know why. They're not for everyone at all but I just love the open-endedness of the games and all the different aspects of building your empire. Do you want to be warlike? Or do you want to try to be the first civilization to reach the stars? Diplomacy or espionage? Or both? Set up your world according to your whims and try to conquer it. Can't beat that in my book. Almost 20 years since I first played and I still fire up Civilization 2 every six months or so.

Too many good ones. There have been games that I enjoy in a series, but not enjoy other ones in that same series... So, I'll stick to ones, in which I have enjoyed every game in the same series.

   Wild Arms. Every one of those games blow me away. I still play them. Wild West JRPG with a great story and wonderful characters? Hell yes. Wild Arms 2 being my favorite.

Kingdom Hearts became my favorite franchise after the second game.  At first I was only drawn to it because of the mix of Disney and Final Fantasy characters but I quickly grew to love the game's own original lore as well.  The story is a bit convoluted at times, but that never stopped me from enjoying it to its fullest extent.  I hope Kingdom Hearts 3 is able to live up to its predecessors.  So far, it looks like it will.
