hi im new to all this and i was wondering if you could help i downloaded syphon filter 1 for the psx i loaded it onto ePSXe and noticed there was no sound in cutscenes or when charcters talk ive tried multiple emulators none seem to work
wondering if there was a way around this help please!

p.s the file was downloaded off this site and when extracted contained three files:
SCUS94240.ccd
SCUS94240.img
SCUS94240.sub

Next off, we don't want people signing up only for the roms, so if that's all your here for, then kindly log out and don't return. If you're here for roms AND to post in a community of people with common interests, then please feel free to stay and post your heart out. I don't want to sound mean, but we'd appreciate it if more people who joined were active users rather than people who only join for the roms and never post again.

hi and welcome. as the others said, this goes in GRY discussion, but i have an answer for you.
try all the things i, DarkHyren, mention in this post: https://www.vizzed.com/vizzedboard/thread.php?id=4176
ePSXe is the best emulator for Windows in my opinion, if it doesnt end up working properly after you try the things in the link above, then i'll look into it furthur, k?

these files are the correct ones yes.
SCUS94240.img is the game. the other 2 are needed for if you want to burn the game for play off of a cd.
some emulators also use them, so you may as well keep them, their small files anyway.
