          As we all wait for the release of Halo 4 new developments in the multiplayer have surfaced. It is looking like if Halo fans want the full experience of Halo 4’s multiplayer they are going to need to have some serious memory room. According to gamespot.com 343 Industry made an announcement that Halo 4’s multiplayer will take 8 GB’s of memory in order to have the “complete experience.” In fact, Microsoft announced on there website that players would be better off to download Halo 4 onto their system using their built in hard drives in order to get the complete experience of what Halo 4 has to offer. However, nothing has been said on how much memory the whole Halo 4 game will take.

 

            Halo 4’s multiplayer is split into two different parts, War games and Spartan Ops. War games have players battling other players in both classic and some new types of games. Spartan Ops, is where players team up and do story driven missions that are updated weekly. This is something that is new to the Halo franchise it will be interesting to see how the hardcore Halo fans reach to this new thing.

 

            Halo 4 is due to be release world wide November 6^th.

I don't get why they would try to use so much data on just the multiplayer part of the game, when they have also have a story mode to go along with it.

8 Gigs must mean Halo 4 is owning multiplayer. Of course, It's rival Black Ops II is going to snack on sales as well. I'll hope to get both....

I was never much a fan of halo multi-player online because i was always busy playing cod, but with recent games coming out, i may forego even trying cod simply because its just going to be the exact same thing. Like always. but halo story has always been strong and if their multi-player can par up to what the good cod titles were, it very well could be my time sink for the holidays.

How can you not be a fan of something just because you are playing something else? That' doesn't make sense.

As far as the game goes, I don't see how the multiplayer would be that large unless you had to download the whole thing. Either that or the game is going to be on two disks...I personally always save my games to the hard drive so I don't have to worry about the disk spinning as much. This helps prolong your system. It's not like you are going to run out of space anyways with the cloud storage and the hard drive.

To keep this from becoming spam, 8 gigs? That's just a little too overboard, if you ask me. No multiplayer should take that much room. Geez! Halo's nice, but I'm not gonna waste 8 gigs on it. lol
