Remember the good old days of CN? Back when they had good stuff to watch? Well Dexter's laboratory was one of the must watch shows from the CN library. It's way better then what we have today(With the exception of regular show and annoying orange) So when I found Dexter's laboratory deesaster strikes on the gba games list, like bubsy,I thought "What could possibly go wrong?"

Story-8/10
The story of this game plays like a regular episode of the show.Dexter is working on something in the lab, then Dee dee stumbles in and finds his cloning machine, then she walks in.....,OH NOES! Dee Dee has morphed herself into a bunch of mini dee dees and dexter must travel all over 8 locations in his lab to stop them! Find them all before mom calls you to dinner!

Gameplay-7/10
First thing you'll notice is that instead of being a side scroller like most licensed games, this game plays from a top down view ala kingdom hearts chain of memories. From the start you only have the aviation hanger to explore, but as you get more and more dee dees, you will get access to the other places in the game ala super mario 64.There are four "Sections" Per World, each with four dee dees to capture, totalling sixteen dee dees per world(With the exeption of the house level, witch only has twelve dee dees) And there are machines that you have to fix in the worlds but you need required tools to fix them, and these tools include the driller, the wrench, the screwdriver, the cutter, the hammer, and some yellow tool I can not find in any the worlds!  If anybody knows where in the world it is,reply to the article "The yellow tool" in the game forums ASAP.Well thats all for the gameplay.

Graphics-7/10
This game was released in 2001,back when the gba was first born. And just because the game plays from a top down view does not mean it's bad.The places actully have detail in them, the chemical lab is all pink but that's not bad,the garden room has a bunch of plants and stuff,Nice touch!,And the space craft makes me feel like I'm in space. And dexter's sprite looks nice.

Sound-6/10
OK the BGM is not too bad. Some tunes such as the aviation hanger have nice BGM,or better, the space craft BGM has a real spooky feel to it.And there are some voice clips such as dee dee saying "WEEEEEEEEEEE" in the drop off cutscene, but dexter has his own voice clip whenever he punches he sounds really funny.

Difficulty-8/10
If theres one thing deesaster strikes suffers from, its a high difficulty level. The game is essentially easy for the most part, but the game can also be confusing at times(As I said before,I cannot find the yellow tool,I Even Backtracked!,)And worst of all,In the house level you need a wrench to fix the sink in the bathroom so it can open up a passasage that has a machine you need to fix,but when you fix the sink, the wrench vanishes from your inventory!,DO NOT WORRY! There is a way to get the wrench back! After it dissapears from your inventory,go to the pause menu and press LLRR RRRR LLRR LLLR.Then a message will appear saying "YOU HAVE UNLOCKED:LOW GRAVITY"Meaning you get to jump higher, then resume the game, jump near the sink, and bada bing bada boom, the wrench is back in your inventory!

Overall-8.1/10
Wow,I was suprised at this game.I thought it was going to a lackluster game, but turns out it was really good! I'm going to really enjoy reviewing games in the future! Plus it was really challenging! Remember if you have any requests just tell me!
