Overall:
This is a story of a boy/girl (depending on what you pick, I will refer to it as her) that was born and raised in vault 101. There are many vaults where people went to be safe from the nuclear holocaust. The games time line takes place in 2277, 200 years after the nuclear holocaust. One day our character is woken to find that he father has left the vault and there is lots of controversy surrounding it. Finally you manage to escape the vault yourself to find yourself in the Capital Wasteland. On a journey to find your dad and the truth about the way things really are.

Graphics:
Pretty good but glitchy at times. Its a very huge world there are bound to be some things that they didn't get perfect. The detail put in to the landscape is amazing. Buildings are lifelike. Over all I think they did a very good job with the CG on this game. Not really much more to say about it other then the realism can make you feel like your actually there at times.

Sound:
Very good sound quality, great music for when this takes place and considering what happened to the world. All the music is old music from the 50's and 60's I believe. Some houses have old radios that you can turn on and listen to. Once you get through some of the missions you get permanent access to Galaxy News Radio. The DJ of GNR, Three Dog, often comes on and talks about your progression in the game and how you are helping other people. He also can sometimes tell you what areas there are swarms of bandits that have been spotted. It makes you feel like your not completely alone since half the time you are roaming around for hours trying to find something or somewhere.

Addictiveness/ Depth:  (sorry I had to put this in one because it is so addictive because of how in depth it is.
Highly addictive. Although the main story is quite short (in retrospect), it can take time to get it done if you have no idea what your doing. I played for 12 hours straight and got maybe 5 missions done (side quest and main quest) Getting distracted doing something else can turn into doing 5 different missions at once and still getting sidetracked. Not to mention the add-on content that came later. This game will never be something you can complete 100%. Also I played it, didn't get to far and then had to start over (hard drive got wiped). I did everything the exact same and the game and what people said and did were different or happened in different order. So 2 play throughs will always have different contents. Same basic but things will be said differently. It is a very in depth game.

Story:
Amazing story about a persons journey to find out where their father went and why. How can we fight our way through the wasteland and survive?? The story is constantly changing in this game. What you thought was the truth somehow isn't. Just when you think you have figured something out, something happens and the situation completely changes. This is definitely one of the best "life of a person" game I have ever played. You can choose to be got or evil which will change your story. You can also be neutral, which is a mix between the two (clearly).

Difficulty:
This game you can choose your difficulty but personally for me it was a hard time consuming game. Especially if your going for trophies. Just take your time and enjoy it, because it is not going anywhere.

Note: After about 2 hours of playing this game it is known to freeze. Sometimes it will come back after a certain amount of time. Sometimes is wont. The music will still play so its very misleading. MAKE SURE YOU SAVE OFTEN AND MANY DIFFERENT SAVES. Because one little thing in the game can make a difference and you might want to take that difference back later.

So many things to do in FO3, I have yet to actually FINISH EVERYTHING

Btw, the freezing only occurs on console like PS3, not sure about 360 but it does get annoying and then you cant even finish itafter a certain point. one of the cons of getting it for console. however on the PC the only bad thing is the game Crashes, but you can easily start it back up with seconds

The game is definitely sounding very well. I know it had some good ratings by review people or whatever, but this game sounds/looks awesome. I hope I can buy it sometime soon.

I am so sad! I went to play it on Friday and realized it was missing! I am still on my search Might just have to buy another copy. But so worth it! If anyone buys this game get the "game of the year edition" it has all the add-ons and its the same price if not cheaper!

starwars293:Main games 4 but the fourth one New Vegas wasn't completely done by the same company but everything is mostly the same as far as game play and such. There are a few other ones for iPhone and other little knock offs. They are pretty much each their own story as well.
