This is my first question center, which means that you can ask a question here, and I will answer it. Pretty simple.
Here is a example for my question center for this game:

Example Question: I can't get into the tube where the start is in the Snow Man Land, star 2 any help?

Example Answer: Face the star where you spawn, and do a triple jump, right after the triple, try a jump dive into the tube, and there you have a star.

You can leave a question here, and when I get to it, I will answer your question.

NOTE: This is not a ask anything thread, this is just a question center that is mine.

Rules:

• Stay on-topic with the thread title. Don't make a post like this: "Hey, I like posting."

• Dont make a short post, the rule goes out to every thread on the board.

• If the question is about a plugin issue, I will tell you to contact the RGR staff, they will help you.

• If the question is about how to get whatever star you ask, please tell me the following:

- Star Number and description of Star.
- What course the star is on.

When you tell me both if you need to ask it, I will play that star/level on my real N64 console and I will go step by step to tell you how to do it.

That is all the rules in this thread, if you are confused with the rules, I will fix the rules so you will be comfortable with them.

shanezer : You can't use gameshark on vizzed. Download a N64 emulator like Project64, or something that's decent. Download link is on the TASvideos emulators page. Scroll to the recommended N64 emulator, then download the latest version of it. If it says a file is missing even though it's there, it may be a .zip folder. Extract the folder, and then delete the duplicate folder that has the .zip extension. I've had that happen with the Visual Boy Advance emulator I had downloaded like a month ago.

bombchu link : When doing a blj, you mash the A button, and every time, you will earn tons of backwards momentum. On a real N64, once you get 65535 momentum either foward or backwards, the game freezes. On a emulator though, you can get infinite speed without any crashing. Also, according to a comment on a Super Mario 64 0 star TAS video, one person commented that the max bljs you can do per second is 19. There's also a pause BLJ trick which can work on console if done while vibrating the Start and A buttons pretty fast. The pause trick can go up to 30 BLJs per second when altering Start and A each frame. It gives momentum in faster and higher amounts at once.

Stevie 764 : That's neat, but what do you mean by a 'real' N64? As in it can be done better on an emulator?

bombchu link : I meant that when I said "real", I meant that it could be done on a N64 console without the use of a emulator. You can get better speeds on a emulator, except that many glitches that can be done on console are a little or a lot harder to pull off, because it will take many attempts to get a decent speed for pause blj and the hyperspeed flying.
