I was looking at my profile and I noticed that I had -3 trust points! Is there any way that I can tell who did this and/ or why? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

No, there isn't any possible way (staff or non staff) to see who subtracted trust points. This is to avoid confrontation between members.

Also, people subtract trust points usually because you were either spamming the forum or upset/offended someone.....though the reasons vary.

Well I haven't done any of those things, but whatever. I'm never going to be a trusted member now that I have some twat choosing me out for some reason

66shadowZ : Well, you could always try to earn them back. If there is someone who is going and taking away your Trust Points for no reason, go and try to figure out who has done it.

Whatever, just forget it and focus on GAINING more trust points rather than losing them. Don't flame, anger, or irritate any of the members on this board. Help out often, and you're well on your way.

This attitude may have some part in why you have negative trust points... It's been my experience that to GET trust points you pretty much just have to amuse the right people, but loosing trust points requires a much finer approach at being completely obnoxious.

I know that you're notified whenever someone gives trust points, but I'm not sure about when someone takes them away.

Are you notified when someone rates you with negative points?

If not, then that should be coded. I'm not sure because I've never had a notification that someone took points from me.

No, sadly, you don't get notified when you lose them. Why, I have no idea :/ And I used the word twat for lack of a better word. Sorry, I didn't know that my grammar would make me lose trust points.

No, because then anyone can go around giving people negative points and no one would know who it was

66shadowZ : You can only rank people 3 times a day, positive or negative, and you can only throw around your own weight in Trust Points. It's not like you can just vote someone into oblivion (Unless you're David or Leggy). Most users can only hand out 2 or three negative points, so even if they downvoted everybody, it wouldn't make much difference.

And you can still get away with down voting someone like crazy, just not all at once.

Ok whatever, I see I'm not getting anywhere. I don't know why I bother replying. Thanks for "trying". And if the person who down voted me is looking, I don't know what your deal is, but you need to knock it off. First I get my thread taken down (which was resolved, I'm  not getting pissy all over again, I'm just making a point) And now this. Its probably that cat fight whatever girl I don't know.

Just a bit of advice, if you're gonna reply to the people who are trying to explain things to you (coincidentally every one of them has the power to downvote you even further), you might want to try being at least a little decent towards them. No one owes you any trust points, you have to earn them. And if someone comes along and downvotes you, that just means you'll have to earn more. Get over it and move on. It's the only chance you have. Crying about it and threatening people, then acting like an entitled brat to the very people who want to help you is not a good way to become a trusted member.

Anyway, now that I've said that, I think the trust point system could be improved greatly by requiring more points to become trusted and taking away downvotes entirely. That way you have to work to earn points and can always change if you had a rough start. But that may just be my opinion.

And I said in my last post I was done, I'm not "crying" over anything, so stay out of this if your just going to assume things. I understand the rules. I don't like them, but I respect them. I have no say in that, I know. AND I never said anyone owes me anything. I really want to know where you get your information from. And if I was being rude to any of you I'm sorry, I know you tried, and that's all that you can do. None of my anger was intended to be towards you guys.
