Dead Island 2 Plans Are Not Yet In The Works
Deep Silver announces that Dead Island 2 plans are not in the works. According to Deep Silver they don’t have anything going with Yager development. In fact, there is no contract between the two companies as of yet to make a Dead Island 2 game. The development director for Deep Silver tells ign.com that even though they have close personal and professional relationships with Yager development they don’t have anything in concept or planed for a sequel to Dead Island. However, The development director also says that just because they don’t have anything planed right now doesn’t mean it won’t happen.
Nintendo Gets On Board with updating 3DS Game
Nintendo Europe announced that it launched its first update for Mario Kart 7 for the 3DS. Since online gaming first begun companies like Microsoft and Sony have made updates to servers and fix glitches that were found in games. However, Nintendo had never really done anything like that until now. According to Nintendo Europe there were three maps on Mario Kart 7 that had some really unfair short cuts that users would use during a race giving them an unfair advantage. WuHu Island loop, WuHu Mountain loop, and GBA Bowser Castle 1 loop where the courses that were fixed in the update. However, gamers can choose not to download the update, but if they do that they will be limited to only the single-player and multiplayer play of the game. Because, the online part of the game requires the update to be downloaded in order to play online. There has been no official word yet as to when the new update will hit North America, however, some gamers who have posted on ign.com believe that the update has already been launched for North America though. This actually could've been 2 separate articles.
Nice to see Nintendo finally catching up online gaming. Next I'd like to see them get more addons for their games like PS3 and 360. |

Davideo7 : id like to see them get dead island one working... The co-op just does not work, im really annoyed about it, and if they dont fix it i wont be buying 2. Theyre actualy making dlc yet they havent fixed a major bug... *shakes head*

Davideo7 : Dead Island is a kinect game on the 360...and if memory serves me right it's only for the 360 so I would say its safe that Dead Island 2 if and when it is made will also be for the kinect.

Honestly I didn't think Dead Island was that great. I kept my interest for about 3 days before I wanted to trade it back in. Graphics were decent, but the control was clunky as heck.

The first time I played Mario Kart 7, it was sort of fun. Later throughout the year, it got really boring. Even though Mario Kart 7 came out already. Please update that Mario Kart 7 already came out all around the world.
