I'm new to this site and I was wondering if it was worth installing the plug in. I had been play A Link to The Past and my file was lost. Would installing the plug in change any of that?

Thanks.

You would probably have a better chance of your save file securely stored but if you want to be absolutely 100% sure your save file will never be lost I would recommend downloading the rom from Get-your-Rom , im not too sure they have the emulator hosted there yet.  If they dont you can always google SNES9x or ZNES.  Then playing it directly off your HDD, and for extra caution you could back the save files up onto a flash drive.

Just curious, were you playing it on Vizzed when the save file was lost?  Because I'm pretty sure you need the plugin to play SNES titles to begin with...

Yes, playing with the online java snes emulator has a sketchy method of storing save files, the Plugin uses a more reliable emulator.
